  • Publication number: 20230312015
Abstract: A vehicle bottom structure includes a cross member disposed on a bottom of a vehicle and elongated along a vehicle width, a plurality of column members disposed at intervals along the vehicle width, each protruding downward from a bottom face of the cross member, and a brace extending to connect the plurality of column members.

  • Publication number: 20220153228
Abstract: A getting-out support device includes a door opening-closing operation tool that is operated by an occupant of a vehicle when the occupant opens or closes a door of the vehicle. In a case where a door opening prohibition condition that a moving body approaching the door is detected is satisfied, the getting-out support device maintains the door in the closed state even when the occupant performs the door opening operation to the door opening-closing operation tool, and thereafter, the getting-out support device continues to maintain the door in the closed state while an operation time during which the door opening operation is continuously being performed to the door opening-closing operation tool is shorter than a predetermined time, and finishes maintaining the door in the closed state when the operation time becomes equal to or longer than the predetermined time.

  • Publication number: 20200194137
Abstract: Provided are a fuel placement confirmation method and a fuel placement confirmation apparatus that can increase an underwater imaging distance, collectively image a wide region, and reliably confirm an imprint number of a fuel assembly in consideration of a water fluctuation.

  • Publication number: 20070002999
Abstract: A fuel grasping device in a nuclear reactor has a telescopic tube including a plurality of tubular members combined with each other to enable a telescopic motion, a fuel gripper arranged at a lower end of the telescopic tube to grasp the fuel assembly for the nuclear reactor, and a driver for winding up and down a rope to perform the telescopic motion vertically. Rotatable members are mounted on the tubular members. A pulling-out preventing projection is used at the joint position of the tubular members. A deceleration of the vertical velocity at the joint position of the tubular members is not necessary so that a time period for the vertical movement can be decreased.

  • Patent number: 6651886
Abstract: Holographic optical elements are configured and deployed in optical imagers and scanners to produce optical modification of output laser beams and light received and detected by the system. In some preferred embodiments electrically switchable holographic optical elements (ESHOEs) are employed for beam tilting, for varying spot size and shape for modifying system focal distance and field of view, for changing laser aiming patterns and/or for color imaging.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 13, 2001
Date of Patent: November 25, 2003
    Assignee: Symbol Technologies, Inc.

  • Patent number: 5614705
Abstract: An information reading apparatus comprises a laser diode, a mirror having a planar emission mirror unit for reflecting a laser beam emitted from the laser diode towards a target optical pattern and a concave condensing mirror unit, formed integral with the emission mirror unit, for condensing a reflection beam from the optical pattern in a predetermined direction, a photodetector, situated in such a position as not to interrupt the reflection beam from the optical pattern, for receiving the condensed reflection beam and converting the same to an electric signal, and a mirror driving apparatus for reflecting the laser beam from the scan mirror in a reciprocal rotational operation by an attractive force of a permanent magnet and a coil and a restoring force of a resilient body clamped by dampers on both sides, and reciprocally scanning the beam over a bar code within a predetermined range.
