  • Patent number: 6407801
Abstract: A method or transferring a strip-form photosensitive material comprising mounting a feed roller on an upstream side and a transferring roller on the downstream side with an exposure table located therebetween and intermittently transferring the photosensitive material onto the exposure table only in the predetermined feed size, characterized by measuring in advance a feed size of the paper based on number of revolution of the feed roller and a feed size of the paper based on number of revolution of the transferring roller and compensating for the number of revolution given to both rollers in order to prevent an error generated between both paper feed sizes.

  • Patent number: 5797058
Abstract: A photo-processing apparatus equipped with a stock tank section which contains and stores a strip-shaped photo-sensitive material between a pair of guide plates provided so as to sandwich the transversal direction of the photo-sensitive material; wherein the apparatus includes a tank width changing mechanism which changes a distance between the pair of guide plates depending on the width of the photo-sensitive material to be passed through the stock tank section. The paper to be contained and stored in the stock tank section does not twist and is smoothly pulled out from the exit section by a method wherein the distance between one pair of guide plates restricting the movement of the paper in the transversal direction is adjusted depending on the width of the paper to be passed through the stock tank section.

  • Patent number: 5794092
Abstract: A method and a mechanism for setting a proper guide width corresponding to an actually used photosensitive material is disclosed. In adjusting a guide width L of a width guide installed in the conveyance course of photographic processing apparatus in order to guide the photosensitive material with respect to width direction, the width guide is initially adjusted so that the width L has an initial set point. This initial set point is wider than the width of the photosensitive material and, then, the width L of the width guide is narrowed until the width guide contacts the edges of the photosensitive material. Finally, the width L of the width guide is widened until a desired width is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5735474
Abstract: A method for moving a photosensitive strip material for treatment either forwardly or reversely in a photoprocessing apparatus in which the photosensitive material is moved either from or to a magazine for storing the photosensitive material wound in a form of a roll which includes driving the strip moving mechanism at a plurality of strip-moving speeds. The strip, prior to stopping, is moved at a low speed and is stopped by braking from the low-speed state so that slack inside the magazine can be absorbed and, at the same time, slack is not generated inside the magazine. Consequently, abnormal noise or damage to the strip generated from inside the magazine is eliminated.

  • Patent number: 5475465
Abstract: A mechanism for changing a guide width is provided to automatically change a width of a width guide depending upon papers differ from each other in true width in spite of the same nominal size. The mechanism comprises a width guide, a pulse motor for moving the width guide in a width direction of the paper, a detecting board with detecting holes attached to a guide member of the width guide and a position sensor detecting a standard position of the detecting holes, and is provided to move the guide member only a distance of indicated pulses from the standard position.
