  • Patent number: 5074764
Abstract: A submergible motor pump including a vortex impeller attached to an end of a motor shaft, a pump casing attached to a motor casing and accommodating the impeller therein, a strainer attached to the pump casing for introducing water to be sucked into the pump casing, and a bottom plate supporting the strainer from therebelow is disclosed. The pump casing comprises an intermediate casing member and a lower casing member, which are detachable from each other. The pump casing has a configuration in which the upper side is open so that the flow passage formed in the lower casing member does not have a bag-shaped configuration. A plurality of legs are provided on the lower side of the lower casing member as being integral portions thereof. The legs are spaced apart from each other and extend as far as the outer peripheral end of the lower casing member. The strainer is provided around the outer peripheral end of the lower casing member in such a manner as to surround the outer periphery of the lower casing member.

  • Patent number: 5055006
Abstract: Disclosed is a submerged motor pump of the type in which a motor is installed inside an outer casing so as to define an annular passage therebetween and a pumped liquid is discharged to the outside through the annular passage while cooling the entire periphery of the motor. The outer casing is formed using a resilient material and is retained at its upper and lower ends by rigid members. Accordingly, the outer casing is deformable in the radial direction so as to absorb external force, for example, impact force, which may be applied thereto during transportation.

  • Patent number: 4934914
Abstract: A portable motor pump of the type in which a pump section driven by a motor is installed inside a liquid chamber, with a discharge port of the pump section being opened into the liquid chamber, and in which water which is to be pumped is led from the outside of the liquid chamber to a suction port of the pump section and the pumped water is discharged from the liquid chamber to the outside is disclosed. The liquid chamber is defined by a motor pump body, a pump outer casing outwardly spaced from and surrounding the motor pump body, a motor head cover covering an upper opening of the pump outer casing and a bottom plate covering a lower opening of the pump outer casing. A circulating water suction port for self-priming of the motor pump is opened into the liquid chamber. A suction port which communicates with the suction port of the pump section and a discharge port for discharging the pumped water to the outside are provided in the motor head cover.

  • Patent number: 4911368
Abstract: Disclosed is a grinder pump having a grinder disk fixedly provided around a suction port formed in a pump casing and a grinder impeller fixed by a clamping nut on a front end of a pump impeller shaft so as to rotate together with the pump impeller along the inner periphery of the grinder disk. A ring-shaped boss extends axially from the front surface of the grinder impeller and surrounds the clamping nut, and agitating blades are integrally formed on the front surface. The radially inner ends of the blades are united with the ring-shaped boss. It is possible to grind continuously and smoothly foreign matter sucked into the suction port without any fear of any foreign matter becoming entangled in the agitating blades of the grinder impeller or around the clamping nut.

  • Patent number: 4697746
Abstract: A release type grinder pump is disclosed which is capable of readily permitting the fitting and removal of a grinder ring with respect to a pump casing. The grinder pump includes an annular suction cover in which the grinder ring is fittedly held and which is detachably fitted in the pump casing so as to surround a suction port and allow the grinder ring not to have any portion directly held within the pump casing.
