  • Patent number: 5448212
Abstract: A deflection yoke device of the present invention includes a unit bobbin to be mounted in such a manner as to be fitted in a head portion side of a deflection yoke bobbin. The unit bobbin has two coil winding portions disposed at either or both of top and bottom sides of the deflection yoke so that magnetic leakage-protecting coils can be formed by directly winding a wire around the coil winding portions. The unit bobbin further includes terminals for fixing lead wires extracted from the magnetic leakage-protecting coils.

  • Patent number: 5191307
Abstract: A coil case with a coil receptacle for receiving a coil winding is formed integrally with cover flaps which are swingably joined to either end of the coil receptacle by hinge portions. The coil case has mounting pawls formed thereon. The coil winding is received inside the coil case and the cover flaps are closed, whereby a leakage magnetic field cancellation coil is assembled. The cancellation coil is mounted onto the deflection yoke by engaging the mounting pawls with a part of the deflection yoke. Since the coil case and the cover flaps are formed integrally with each other, the number of component parts is reduced, thereby facilitating manufacture. Further, the size of the cancellation coil is reduced, thereby reducing the material costs, hence, the production costs of the apparatus. Since the cancellation coil can be mounted onto the deflection yoke by a single-step operation utilizing the mounting pawls, the efficiency of the mounting operation is improved.

  • Patent number: 5182487
Abstract: A deflection yoke device for deflecting an electron beam traveling in the interior of a CRT. The distribution of a magnetic field supplied by horizontal deflection coils to the interior of the CRT forms a barrel magnetic field on the panel side and the neck side, as viewed from the horizontal deflection coils, and a pin magnetic field in an intermediate space therebetween. The deflection yoke device of the invention is provided with a correction coil on the neck side, as viewed from the horizontal deflection coils so as to correct the neck-side magnetic field produced by the horizontal deflection coils into the barrel magnetic field of a greater intensity. The distortion of a beam focus caused by the pin magnetic field is thereby corrected.

  • Patent number: 4853588
Abstract: A deflection yoke apparatus comprises pairs of horizontal and vertical deflection coils. A coil separator is located between both coils. A deflection core forms a magnetic path for a magnetic flux generated from both deflection coils. An auxiliary coil is arranged at least a one position in a vertical deflection direction outside the deflection core. A horizontal deflection current is supplied to this auxiliary coil. A magnetic field, generated from the auxiliary coil, reduces an intensity of externally leaking magnetic field which radiates outside the deflection core when a horizontal deflection current is supplied to the horizontal deflection coils.

  • Patent number: 4833432
Abstract: The saturable reactor employs two dual drum cores having two winding portions which are sandwiched by two common permanent magnets to statically bias the magnetism. Each winding portion of each drum core is wound with two impedance coils which are individually series-connected to the either of two horizontal deflection coils. Two drum cores are inserted into the common control coils. When a horizontal deflection current is supplied to the impedance coils and a vertical deflection current is supplied to the control coil, the current which flows in a pair of horizontal deflection coils varies differentially in a vertical deflection cycle to minimize misconvergence.

  • Patent number: 4405910
Abstract: In the convergence apparatus which is mounted on a color cathode-ray tube in which three electron beams are in-line arranged, an annular core is fitted to a bobbin which is provided with 12 or 24 segments which isolate the winding sectors of coils, and two groups of 6-pole coils and two groups of 4-pole coils are wound around the winding sectors isolated by the segments. The winding sectors are arranged so that two groups of 6-pole coils are provided to generate magnetic poles at the positions of approximately 30.degree. intervals and two groups of 4-pole coils to do so at the positions of approximately 45.degree. intervals. The core wound with coils is fitted to the edges of circular through holes provided in the terminal plate by using the segments and the specified lead wires of the coils are connected to the printed wires provided on the terminal plate.
