  • Patent number: 6038109
Abstract: According to a magnetic head and a method of manufacturing the same, a connecting process required when a magnetic head is attached to a head base can be implemented with ease. A pair of magnetic core half blocks (3, 4) are joined to form a magnetic core for forming a closed magnetic circuit. A thin film coil (6) is formed on the joint surface in which the magnetic core half blocks (3, 4) are joined. Terminals (7) of the thin film coil (6) are formed on the same plane of a head side surface (10a) intersecting the above-mentioned joint surface, resulting in a magnetic head (10) being constructed.

  • Patent number: 5969531
Abstract: The inspection apparatus for inspecting performance of a structure such as stator windings of an electric rotating machine of the invention comprises a probe including a measuring element, an arm unit and a cylinder face circumferential moving apparatus. The arm unit has an arm link section supporting the probe (mainly comprising a leading end link assembly and an arm posture keeping mechanism), an arm housing section (mainly comprising a guide rail) regarding driving of this arm link section, and an arm driving mechanism. The arm driving mechanism causes the leading end link assembly to project from the guide rail at an angle toward a measuring position side of the stator windings relative to the axial direction of the rotor unit, while causing the arm link section to travel along the guide rail. The arm posture keeping mechanism is provided with a link wire and a spring, and maintains a straight arm posture of the leading end link assembly after projection from the guide rail.

  • Patent number: 5532070
Abstract: It is to establish a solder precoated conductor circuit substrate capable of conducting the fine pitch mounting and being excellent in the productivity and a technique of producing the same. In the solder precoated conductor circuit substrate, the solder layer formed on the conductor for the connection of electronic component is constituted with Sn thin film layer formed by Cu-Sn substitution reaction based on, for example, the Cu complex formation of thiourea and a Pb-coated Sn layer formed by covering at least a part of Sn crystal grains formed through Sn unhomogeneous reaction based on selective precipitation on Sn with Pb through Sn-Pb substitution reaction based on ionization tendency, in which the solder layer is desirably heated and melted and thereafter cooled to form an alloy layer.

  • Patent number: 5519556
Abstract: A magnetic head capable of preventing erosion of the magnetic metal film despite the absence of a protective film and preventing a decrease in the playback output due to decrease of the track width while preventing cracking from being initiated and developed in the ferrite substrate is disclosed. The magnetic head is prepared by forming magnetic core half blocks and by bonding the core half blocks via gap bonding, each of the magnetic core half blocks being previously formed by stacking a ferrite substrate on another ferrite substrate having magnetic metal films via glass films and forming track width adjustment grooves. The glass transition temperature Tg of the glass employed for stacking the ferrite substrates is set so as to be higher than the glass yield point Tc of the fusion glass.

  • Patent number: 3946430
Abstract: A multiplexed holographic recording system employs plural transparent positive pictures, each representing a different pictorial or video information content, which embody differing, unique pre-assigned spatial frequencies. A hologram is formed of the positive pictures, the reconstructed image from the hologram being identical in smoothed intensity distribution to a composite picture formed by superposition of the positive pictures.Spatial frequency filters are employed to remove, from the object beams transmitted through the positive pictures driving hologram formation, spatial frequency components assigned to other pictures. Accordingly, crosstalk between the multiplexed pictorial information is obviated.
