Abstract: A portable electronic device having a touch screen, a memory and a controller is provided. The touch screen is configured to display a screen including an item to be operated on the touch screen. The memory is configured to store data of a relationship between the item and a reaction to be performed upon the item being operated on the displayed screen. The controller is configured to extract the item from the displayed screen. The controller is configured to provide the extracted item with an identifier and to show the extracted item overlaid with the identifier on the displayed screen. The controller is configured to show an identifier button corresponding to the identifier on the displayed screen. The controller is configured to perform the reaction with reference to the data stored in the memory upon the identifier button being operated on the displayed screen.
