    Abstract: An electromotive compressor fixed to a front side of an engine includes a live part. A harness connection portion where a hinge-voltage harness is connected is provided in an outer peripheral area of a left side, in a vehicle width direction, of the electromotive compressor. A protecting member comprises a first cover portion which covers an area corresponding to the live part from the front side and a second cover portion which is provided continuously to the first cover portion and covers the harness connection portion from the front side with a specified distance from the harness connection portion. A low rigidity portion which has lower rigidity than the first covet portion and the second cover portion is provided at a continuous portion of the first cover portion and the second cover portion.

    Abstract: Provided is an organic EL display device that exhibits high luminance and high color reproducibility and has a color filter which exhibits excellent pixel adhesion and excellent pixel linearity in a development step even in a case of high colorant concentration. This organic EL display device comprises an organic EL layer and a color filter on a silicon substrate in which a driving element is formed. The color filter has pixels including specific red, green, and blue pixels. Each of the pixels is a cured product of a photosensitive coloring composition which contains a specific colorant (A), a photopolymerizable monomer (B), a photopolymerization initiator (C), and a resin (D). The photopolymerizable monomer (B) includes a compound represented by formula (1), and the photopolymerization initiator (C) includes an oxime ester photopolymerization initiator.     Abstract: In an insoluble anode for use in an electrolysis step accompanied by oxygen generation, by making the anode exert sufficient durability even in electrolysis accompanied by cathodic polarization besides anodic polarization, a service life of an electrode is prolonged and works of electrode repair, replacement, and the like are reduced. In order to realize this, an active material supporting member made of a porous metal sheet such as an expanded metal, a punching metal, or a bamboo blind-like or net-shaped metal is bonded to a conductive metal as an electrode structure, to configure an electrode substrate. The electrode substrate is coated, on the side to which the supporting member is bonded, with an electrode active material consisting mainly of iridium oxide. Thus, the anode for oxygen generation, which is highly resistant to a cathodization phenomenon, is obtained.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for electrolytically producing metal foil which is diminished in pinhole defects and has a uniform thickness. The metal foil is produced by passing an electric current between a cylindrical cathode immersed in an electrolytic solution and an anode opposed to the cathode, continuously electrodepositing a metal layer on the surface of the cathode while rotating the cathode and thereafter peeling the metal layer off. An auxiliary anode capable of adjusting the current density when electrodeposition is started is disposed at a position downstream from the anode with respect to the direction of flow of the electrolytic solution. The auxiliary anode is an electrode having a coating layer comprising an electrode active substance and formed over an electrically conductive metal substrate, with an intermediate layer of tantalum or a tantalum alloy formed between the coating layer and the substrate.
