Abstract: Combinations of the known compound pyrimidifen with phosphorus-containing pesticides have a synergistic pesticidal effect, especially against mites.

Abstract: A bed includes a bed body, ascending and descending means, and an auxiliary leg member. The bed body has a floor frame, and a main leg member fixed to the floor frame. The ascending and descending means has an ascending and descending link, and an extensible and retractable actuator for operating the ascending and descending link. The ascending and descending link holds the bed body with one of the opposite ends, and it holds the auxiliary leg member with the other one of the opposite ends. For instance, the ascending and descending link constitutes a parallel link, the floor frame constitutes one of the parallel elements of the parallel link, and the auxiliary leg member constitutes the other one of the parallel elements of the parallel link, thereby enabling the whole bed body including a mattress to ascend and descend.

Abstract: A novel hydrazine derivative and a pesticidal composition containing the hydrazine derivative as the effecting ingredient. The hydrazine derivative show high pesticidal activity against harmful pests which are resistant to known pesticides such as organophosphorus pesticides, pyrethroids, etc., especially against Lepidoptera harmful pests such as Plutella xylostella, Spodoptera litura, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, Adoxophyes orana, etc., and is effective for controlling harmful pests in paddy field, upland field, orchard, forest or places to be kept environmentally hygienic.

Abstract: This invention enables users to interactively modify a schedule display in sequence in building or after completing a scheduling system in adaptation to the service environment, utility, and purpose of the system.The class layer structure modifier is used to modify the way to group data objects. Then the information stored in the attribute definition storage device and the graphic object definition storage device is modified to correct display attributes and their ways of display in order to enable schedules to be displayed in a format suitable to a user's view.

Abstract: In a mattress, a first wadding having numerous gaps therein is provided on one surface of a central core. Body heat of a user on the mattress and sweat emitted from him/her are given off into an inner space of the core through the gaps and are thereafter exhausted from peripheral portions of the mattress. Thus, the user may sleep comfortably in the hot season.

Abstract: Compounds of formula (I): ##STR1## (in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2 and R.sup.6 represent hydrogen or methyl, R.sup.3 represents methyl or ethyl, R.sup.4 represents an alkyl group or allyl and R.sup.5 represents hydrogen, methyl or chlorine) and acid addition salts thereof have acaricidal and insecticidal activity and may be formulated with suitable carriers or diluents for agricultural, horticultural or domestic use. Processes for the preparation of these compounds are also disclosed.

Abstract: A bed unit for saving space wherein a head end portion and a foot end portion of a frame are, respectively, movable along a wall and a floor by a driving mechanism. Thus, preparation for bed making or placing the frame back in the wall can be performed with relative ease. The bed unit includes a mattress positionable in a wall and on a floor for saving space which includes a frame on which the mattress is mounted, a first support mechanism for supporting the frame and a head side thereof, a second support mechanism for supporting the frame at a foot side thereof, a mechanism for rotatably mounting the second support to the frame and a mechanism for moving the frame such that a head end portion of the frame is moved along the wall and a foot end portion of the frame is moved along the floor.

Abstract: Agricultural fungicidal compositions containing as an active ingredient one or more 4-aminoquinazoline derivatives. The amino group is substituted, e.g., with a phenoxyalkylene, and the quinazoline nucleus may be substituted at 2- and or 6-positions.

Abstract: 4-Aminoquinazoline derivatives of formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein: R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an alkenyl group or a benzyl group;R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group or a halogen atom;X represents a straight or branched chain alkylene group; andn is 0 or 1)and salts and hydrates thereof are valuable fungicidal, anti-insect (insect-repellent and insecticidal) and acaricidal compounds and thus can be used to treat or prevent many diseases affecting agricultural and horticultural plants, while, at the same time, having a much lower toxicity to fish than is exhibited by other known compounds.
