    Abstract: A rotor for an induction motor 300 including end rings having an annular shape, which is provided at an end of a rotor core and is connected to a conductor bar projecting from the end of the rotor core, and first reinforcing members having an annular shape, each of which is provided between the rotor core and the corresponding one of the end rings and is in contact with the corresponding one of the end rings. The first reinforcing members each have an insertion hole formed therein to which the conductor bar projecting from the end of the rotor core is to be inserted.
