  • Patent number: 9674708
Abstract: A monitoring system, monitoring server, method, and program that, when an unauthorized access point is installed, effectively block wireless communications performed by the unauthorized access point, a monitoring system including a monitoring server for monitoring an unauthorized access point and multiple terminals connected to the monitoring server via a network is provided. The terminals acquire radio wave information from radio waves transmitted by an access point, and transmit the radio wave information to the monitoring server. The monitoring server detects an unauthorized access point using terminal information including the radio wave information received from the terminals, designates a terminal as a pseudo-access point using intensity of radio waves transmitted by the unauthorized access point, and instructs the terminal to transmit radio waves. The terminal transmits radio waves in accordance with the instruction from the monitoring server.

  • Patent number: 8805409
Abstract: Provided are a computer readable recording media, system, and method for using wired endpoints to determine position information for wireless endpoints in a network. Identification information from a detected wired endpoint connected to the network is received and a command is issued to the detected wired endpoint to cause the detected wired endpoint to transmit signals identifying the wired endpoint. Information is received from a communicating wireless endpoint, comprising one of the wireless endpoints, using wireless communication, including wireless endpoint identification information and information identifying at least one of the wired endpoints transmitting signals received at the wireless endpoint. Position information is determined for the wired endpoint indicated in the information received from the communicating wireless endpoint. Information on the communicating wireless endpoint is updated to associate with the determined position information.

  • Patent number: 8656126
Abstract: Configuration information and a system log are acquired for each of virtual servers running on an external computer, and the acquired system logs are analyzed. Relation information on the relation between the acquired configuration information and a configuration item indicating an existing snapshot, which is acquired from the same virtual server and stored, is extracted on the basis of the analysis result. Identification information for identifying the acquired configuration information is generated on the basis of the extracted relation information, and the acquired configuration information and system log are stored as a configuration item indicating a snapshot in association with the generated identification information.

  • Patent number: 8489602
Abstract: Determining exclusion efficiencies of a plurality of keywords appearing in a search result of an exclusion keyword for indicating efficient exclusion of an unwanted piece of data when the user narrows searching objects. The determining of exclusion efficiencies may involve a processor to calculate an exclusion efficiency for each of a plurality of keywords, if a search condition is applied to the search result and the keyword is applied as an exclusion keyword to the search result. The exclusion efficiency of each of the plurality of keywords provides an indication regarding the effectiveness of exclusion of the keyword.

  • Patent number: 8375027
Abstract: Facilitating a user determination of an exclusion keyword in order to specify an efficient exclusion of an unwanted piece of data when the user narrows searching objects. Exclusion is accomplished in a system having a searching object data storage for storing pieces of searching object data, a searcher for performing a primary narrowing of the search, a common keyword extractor for extracting the common keywords associated with a piece of data, an input/output device for passing a selected keyword selected the extracted common keywords while receiving and displaying a result from an exclusion efficiency calculator. The exclusion efficiency calculator calculates exclusion efficiency and indicates a level of exclusion efficiency of data that is not associated with a selected keyword for an individual common keyword.

  • Patent number: 8311801
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for improving the efficiency of changing or modifying a message displayed by a program. A memory unit stores a message read and displayed by the execution of a program, associating it with a language in which the message is written. An execution unit reads from the memory unit and displays the message corresponding to a language set by a user by executing the program. An editing unit edits the message stored in the memory unit and stores the edited message into the memory unit, associating it with a different language from that of the unedited message. A setting unit changes the language of the message displayed by the execution unit, where the execution unit reads from the memory unit and displays the message corresponding to the language changed by the setting unit thereby displaying the edited message instead of the unedited message.

  • Publication number: 20120042822
Abstract: A method for fabricating a SiC substrate using metastable solvent epitaxy comprises a Si evaporation step of evaporating a Si melt at an intermediate temperature between a SiC crystal growth temperature and a Si melting point after a crystal growth step of growing an SiC crystal with a predetermined film thickness on the surface of the SiC substrate at the SiC crystal growth temperature. In the method for fabricating the SiC substrate, the ambient pressure in the crystal growth step is higher than the saturated vapor pressure of the Si melt, and the ambient pressure in the Si evaporation step is lower than the saturated vapor pressure of the Si melt. Single-crystal SiC with no large irregularities on the surface thereof can be obtained by using the method.
