  • Patent number: 6284382
Abstract: Disclosed is an antireflection film used to be stuck on the surface of a glass panel of a CRT, which can be inexpensively manufactured at a high productivity while satisfying all of requirements regarding its adhesive strength, reflectance characteristic, electric resistance and total light transmittance. The antireflection film is formed by stacking silicon oxide films and indium tin oxide films on a base film in multilevels, wherein the thickness of the uppermost silicon oxide film of the antireflection film is thicker than the indium tin oxide film directly under the uppermost silicon oxide film, and the lowermost silicon oxide film, positioned at the interface with the base film, of the antireflection film is a SiOx film where the value x is in a range of 0.5 to 1.9.

  • Patent number: 6151125
Abstract: A method and apparatus for measuring a surface reflectance of an antireflection optical function film for use on a CRT display panel etc. accurately and in real time by the following formula:RI.sub.s =RI-(TI).sup.2 .times.[RI.sub.b /(1-RI.sub.b).sup.2 ]where, RI.sub.s is the surface reflectance of the light-transmitting type antireflection optical function film, RI is the actually measurable total reflectance, TI is the actually measurable transmittance, and RI.sub.b is the back reflectance calculated by a regression formula.

  • Patent number: 6005472
Abstract: In a CRT inner resistor, it is intended to prevent the potential of an electrode from being varied owing to leak current that is caused by electric field concentration on the circumferential portion of the electrode because an insulating substrate is charged with stray electrons. An insulating substrate, and electrodes and a resistive body that are connected to each other are provided. An insulating glass layer is provided on the insulating substrate so as to cover the resistive body. Shield members made of insulating glass are provided along the circumferences of the respective electrodes so as to cover the peripheries of the respective electrodes and the portions outside the peripheries of the respective electrodes.

  • Patent number: 4647815
Abstract: A resistor for use in a cathode ray tube comprises an insulating plate provided thereon with at least first and second electrode terminals for use respectively with relatively high and low voltages in the cathode ray tube, a coating insulator provided on the insulating plate for covering the same, and a resistive layer provided in a predetermined pattern on the insulating plate between first and second electrode terminals to be covered by the coating insulator and accompanied with a piece of conductive layer provided on the insulating plate at an area between first and second electrode terminals including a high potential difference position where a relatively large potential difference is applied to the coating insulator when the resistor is used in the cathode ray tube.
