  • Publication number: 20020181034
Abstract: There are provided a first imaging lens and a second imaging lens whose image picking-up directions are different, a reflecting member for changing an optical path of an image picked up via one imaging lens such that image forming direction of the first imaging lens and the second imaging lens are set in a same direction, an imaging device having imaging surfaces on which images picked up via the first imaging lens and the second imaging lens are formed, a signal processing member for signal-processing an image signal that is converted into an electric signal by the imaging device, a display portion for displaying the image signal which is subjected to the signal processing by the signal processing member, and a selecting member for selecting the image signal corresponding to any one of the first imaging lens and the second imaging lens to display it on the display portion.

  • Patent number: 5546191
Abstract: In program retrieval using a magnetic tape in which programs are classified by index signals recorded on the tape, an image at the beginning of each program is displayed in a list on a multi-screen, and a desired program is directly selected using a count value of index signals. In recording, an index signal is recorded at a starting point of recording. When preparing a multi-screen at the time of reproducing, an image reproduced a predetermined time after detection of an index signal is reduced and stored in a memory.

  • Patent number: 5546128
Abstract: An exposure control apparatus has a lens, a photoelectric conversion device, and a spatial light modulator. The spatial light modulator varies the amount of light received from the lens and reflected to the photoelectric conversion device. A control unit controls the spatial light modulator, and thus the exposure of the image focused on the lens, based on output from the photoelectric conversion device.

  • Patent number: 5418546
Abstract: A visual display system in which light from a light source is modulated by a spatial light modulator having a plurality of controllable elements arranged in a first dimension. The modulated light is scanned by an optical scanning device along a second dimension to display an image. An exposure control apparatus has a lens, a photoelectric conversion device, and a spatial light modulator. The spatial light modulator varies the amount of light received from the lens and supplied to the photoelectric conversion device, thereby controlling the exposure of the image focused by the lens.

  • Patent number: 5369435
Abstract: A contrast detecting apparatus includes first extracting means for extracting a signal component of a first frequency band from a luminance signal obtained by imaging a subject, second extracting means for extracting a signal component of a second frequency band lower than the first frequency band from the luminance signal obtained by imaging the subject, and determining means for determining a state of contrast of the subject in accordance with extracted outputs of the first and second extracting means. Therefore, when the contrast detecting apparatus is used, it can be exactly and automatically determined whether the contrast of the subject exists or not in accordance with a luminance signal obtained from the subject.

  • Patent number: 4871976
Abstract: In an amplifier circuit, there are provided a preamplifier, a first differential-input amplifier and a second differential-input amplifier. An AC negative feedback path is formed between the output terminal of the preamplifier and the inverting input terminal thereof. The inverting input terminal is connected to a ground via a RC series circuit. An input signal containing a DC voltage component is supplied via the junction of the RC series circuit to the inverting input terminal. A voltage appearing at this junction is applied to both the first and second differential-input amplifiers as a reference voltage.
