  • Patent number: 11489170
Abstract: A fuel cell separator includes a separator main body having a first surface and a second surface, and a first seal member disposed on the first surface. When a region on the first surface of the separator main body corresponding to an electrode member disposed on the second surface is defined as a power generation region, and a region on the first surface of the separator main body corresponding to an in-cell seal member is defined as a seal region, a displacement/vibration reducing member made of polymer is disposed at a part of the seal region. The displacement/vibration reducing member includes multiple protrusions and a coupling portion. When viewed in plan view, an axis line connecting the centers of the figures of the adjacent protrusions does not coincide with a center line passing through the widthwise center of the coupling portion. The coupling portion has a gate cut mark.

The quinolinone derivative is expressed by the following general formula (II); and the method is characterized in that an amide derivative, expressed by the following formula (I), is reacted with a basic agent, followed by intramolecular ring formation: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkyl group containing a hydroxyl group an alkenyl group, or an aryl group; R.sub.2 represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, or an aralkyl group; R.sub.3 represents a reactive carboxyl group; and R.sub.4 to R.sub.

  • Patent number: 5392519
Abstract: A reciprocating saw includes a body and a slider supported by the body such that the slider is slidably movable in a longitudinal direction of the body and is pivotally movable in a vertical direction. A first motion conversion mechanism is operable to convert the rotational movement of the rotary member into a reciprocal movement of the slider in the longitudinal direction. A second motion conversion mechanism is operable to convert the rotational movement of the rotary member into a reciprocal pivotal movement of the slider in the vertical direction. The second motion conversion mechanism includes an arm having one end vertically pivotally connected to the slider. An actuating member is rotatable with the rotary member and has an abutting surface on which the other end of the arm slidably abuts. The abutting position of the other end of the arm on the abutting surface is varied as the actuating member is rotated, so that the vertical position of one end of the arm is varied.

  • Patent number: 5018314
Abstract: A sander has a body, a motor mounted on the body, and a pad driven by the motor. A mechanism is interposed between the motor and the pad for transmitting the rotational motion of the motor to the paid in such a manner that the pad can perform a dual action including an orbital motion and a rotational motion. A resilient member is mounted on the body. The resilient member serves to contact the pad so as to produce frictional resistance against the rotation of the pad.
