  • Patent number: 7631713
Abstract: A car mounted with a hydrogen internal combustion engine is driven by supplying hydrogen gas fuel which is produced by vaporizing an aqueous hydrazine solution carried on the car and bringing the vaporized hydrazine into contact with a catalyst carried on the car to decompose hydrazine.

  • Publication number: 20070114499
Abstract: Provision of a preparing method for the production of a metal micropowder having a uniform diameter which is of value for preparation of precious metal electrodes. A method for producing a metal micropowder having a uniform particle diameter which is performed sequentially by preparing a colloidal solution which contains two metal (e.g., Ag and Pd) salts having different oxidation-reduction potentials; bringing a reducing agent into contact with the colloidal solution, whereby first precipitating micro-particles of a metal (e.g., Ag) having a relatively low oxidation-reduction potential and then depositing a metal (e.g Pd) having a relatively high oxidation-reduction potential on the micro-particles, to produce double layered particles composed of the micro-particles of a metal of a relatively low oxidation-reduction potential coated with a metal of a relatively high oxidation-reduction potential; and bringing the colloidal solution containing the double layered particles into contact with a third metal (e.g.

  • Patent number: 5824267
Abstract: Ceramic or base metal particles of a mean diameter of 0.01 to 0.5 .mu.m having thereon bactericidal metal particles of a mean diameter of 0.0001 to 0.1 .mu.m (the mean diameter of the bactericidal metal particles is smaller than the mean diameter of the ceramic or base metal particles) are effective to give a bactericidal surface of a plastic article when they are embedded on the surface under the condition that a portion of the particle is exposed over the surface of the plastic article. The above ceramic or base metal particles having the bactericidal metal particles on their surface are also effective to sterilize liquid or solid material.

  • Patent number: 5512379
Abstract: A coated palladium fine powder comprising palladium particles of a mean particle size in the range of 0.1 to 1.0 .mu.m which are coated with nickel or alloy of nickel with other metal are employable, optionally in combination with palladium particles or palladium-coated ceramic particles of a mean particle size in the range of 0.1 to 1.0 .mu.m, for preparing an electroconductive paste.

  • Patent number: 4714645
Abstract: Electronic parts comprising ceramic substrate and electrode layer provided onto the substrate in which a micro-granular ceramic powder is dispersed substantially only inside of the electrode layer. A process for the manufacture of the same is also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 4450188
Abstract: A process for the preparation of precious metal-coated particles which comprises adding a reducing agent to an aqueous suspension containing:(A) homogeneously suspended core material particles;(B) homogeneously suspended precious metal salt particles; and(C) dissolved precious metal ionsin an aqueous acidic medium having little dissolving capacity for the core material to produce precious metal-coated particles through gelling state, and recovering the produced precious metal-coated particles. The invention also provides alternate processes (1) wherein the precious metal salt is in a solution and (2) wherein the components are in a chelated gelling mixture which also uses an alkali agent, which also produce the precious metal-coated particles via the gelling state.
