  • Publication number: 20120219461
Abstract: A deodorizing apparatus for deodorizing the ambient air, which is taken through an intake port by a blower, while cyclically supplying powdery activated carbon which serves as a deodorizing powder body to a deodorizing section comprises an auxiliary filtering section having a bag filter section which is fitted to the deodorizing section.

  • Patent number: 7867305
Abstract: The bag-filter type small deodorizing and dust collecting apparatus including a feed pipe feeding deodorizing powder, a rotary valve discharging the deodorizing powder by a fixed amount, and a reflux pipe for refluxing the deodorizing powder from the rotary valve A blower is provided for refluxing the deodorizing powder. Furthermore a switchover gate is mounted on a discharge side of the rotary valve. Branch pipes are connected to the switchover gate, such that one branch pipe is connected to a discharging chamber and the other branch pipe is connected to the reflux pipe. Dust is collected while enabling deodorization, or in particular, enabling local deodorization of a foundry or the like, mainly, without a need for a large-scaled apparatus for circulation, supply and discharge of the activated carbon or the like used therein.

  • Publication number: 20020175135
Abstract: An overhead traveling crane is movably mounted on a truck, which is installed in the inside of a foundry and the crane provides a movable body having a elevation mechanism. At least one bag-filter type dust collector is mounted on the movable body so as to directly vacuum and remove dusty and sooty which are generated due to transfer of a ladle by means of the overhead traveling crane.

  • Patent number: 5857420
Abstract: The method of an apparatus for incinerating and melting wastes along with incombustible materials in the wastes which comprise introducing wastes in a horizontal rotary furnace, incinerating the wastes at a temperature from 800.degree. C. to 1,200.degree. C., and melting the ashes of the wastes together with the remaining products which are vitrified at a temperature of more than 1,600.degree. C., by an oxygen type burner in which an oxygen-fuel mixture has an oxygen content of 50% in the mixture. The exhaust gas generated in the incineration and melting processes is introduced to a dust collector for cleaning the exhaust gas.

  • Patent number: 5159737
Abstract: A dust collection apparatus comprising a base duct, an adapter duct rotatably mounted on the upper end of the base duct, a first duct arm pivotaly connected to the upper end of the adapter duct and made of steel plates, a first connecting mechanism for connecting the adapter duct and the first duct arm, and second drive means for swinging the first duct arm. The first connecting mechanism comprises cylindrical holders projecting from the adapter duct, two branches of substantially U-shape provided with openings in which the cylindrical holders are inserted rotatably, air tight seals positioned between the openings of the branches and the cylindrical holders, a shaft penetrating the two branches and the adapter duct for rotatably connecting the first duct arm to the adapter duct, and support means arranged in the adapter duct for supporting the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4486205
Abstract: A powdery dust separating apparatus in a dust collector to separate powdery dust from clean gas by sucking gas containing the powdery dust into the body of the apparatus and passing this through filter members, the body being divided into a filter chamber provided with a plurality of flat box-like filter members therein, and a gas chamber to discharge the filtered gas, the gas chamber being subdivided longitudinally into gas passages with outlets to discharge filtered gas therefrom. Structure is provided to close the outlets just before the introduction of compressed air against the filter members, and at the same time introduce atmospheric air by opening atmospheric air inlets, and causing this atmospheric air to promote action as an expansion gas in addition to the compressed air, whereby the filter members are expanded rapidly and vibrated slightly so as to separate powdery dust built up on the filter members efficiently.
