  • Patent number: 8713011
Abstract: A navigation apparatus includes: a basic frame generating unit for generating a basic frame two-dimensionally configured based on a search item axis and a search result display axis; a three-dimensional (3-D) search result listing image generating unit for generating a 3-D search result listing image in which a plurality of search result cards show as if they are stereoscopically arranged in a domino-like configuration along the search item axis and the search result display axis of the basic frame, the search result cards having titles of search results thereon; and a control unit for outputting the 3-D search result listing image to a predetermined display unit with a predetermined display angle, thereby displaying the 3-D search result listing image at the display angle.

  • Publication number: 20120182321
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an image converter including an acquisition section, a storage section, and a conversion section. The acquisition section is adapted to acquire pixel data of a plurality of pixels that are defined in a matrix form in an image. The storage section is adapted to store the acquired pixel data. The conversion section is adapted to enlarge or reduce an acquired input image into an output image by increasing or reducing the number of pixels making up the image using the pixel data stored in the storage section. The acquisition section reads pixel data of a plurality of pixels included in each row of the input image on a plurality of separate occasions. The conversion section performs enlarging or reducing processing to increase or reduce the number of pixels in the order in which the pixels are read into the storage section.

  • Patent number: 5233332
Abstract: A page turning effect generating apparatus for video signals is provided with a memory for storing a video signal, an output switch for switching incoming video signal and a memory output video signal in accordance with a switching control signal, and a control signal generator including a circuit for generating the switching control signal and a circuit for generating a read address to be supplied to the memory, wherein the read address generating circuit includes a convertor for non-linearly converting a first vector which represents one of the vector components of a vector expressing a scanning point of a display image from an origin of a modification, and a generator for generating a final vector by synthesizing the non-linearly converted first vector and a second vector which represents another of the vector components of the vector, the final vector indicating the read address to be supplied to the memory.

  • Patent number: 5165070
Abstract: A special effect generator is arranged such that read address calculations for special effect processing of an original video image are limited only to the region within which the processed video image is located on the display screen, so that calculations of read addresses are simplified. The coordinates and image rotation information for several different video special effects are stored in a read-only-memory and are used to limit the address generation operation based on the coordinate boundaries of the image on the video screen, so that only those addresses actually required for the special effect are calculated.
