  • Patent number: 11326610
Abstract: A blower may include a motor; a centrifugal fan configured to rotate with rotation of the motor; a casing configured to guide air from a suction port to a discharge port; a trigger configured to be pressed; and a control board configured to control rotation of the motor. The control board may include a normal mode and a low speed mode. In the normal mode, the control board may be configured to adjust a rotation speed of the motor in accordance with a degree by which the trigger is pressed. In the low speed mode, the control board may be configured to adjust the rotation speed of the motor to a target rotation speed, wherein the target rotation speed is lower than a maximum rotation speed of the motor that is achieved when the degree by which the trigger is pressed is a maximum degree in the normal mode.

  • Publication number: 20210088050
Abstract: A blower may include a plurality of batteries; a centrifugal fan configured to change a flow direction of air from a first direction extending along the rotation axis to a radially outward direction of the rotation axis; a volute casing including a discharge port and configured to guide the air from the centrifugal fan along a circumferential direction of the rotation axis to the discharge port; and a main grip disposed radially outward of the rotation axis and outside of the volute casing and configured to be gripped by an operator. A central axis of the main grip may extend along a reference plane perpendicular to the rotation axis. A distance from the reference plane to a center of gravity of the blower may be less than or equal to 1.5 times a width of the main grip.

  • Publication number: 20190301164
Abstract: A blower reduces debris blown toward an operator when air is jetted from a distal end of a blower pipe. A blower includes a blower body and a blower pipe. The blower body includes an impeller drivable to rotate by a prime mover, and a casing accommodating the impeller. The casing includes an air inlet and an air outlet. The blower pipe includes a basal end coupled to the air outlet, a distal end from which air ejected through the air outlet is jetted, and a peripheral wall having one or more openings.

  • Patent number: 10220396
Abstract: A nozzle pipe is to be coupled to a distal open end of an air blow-off tube of a blower apparatus for regulating the profile of an airflow blown out from the blow-off tube. The nozzle pipe comprises an outer tubular member and an inner tubular member coaxially disposed within the outer tubular member. The inner tubular member has a circumferential wall formed with apertures allowing air passage therethrough. The outer tubular member and the inner tubular member provides a first space therebetween to form a first air passage, while the inner tubular member provides a second space therein to form a second air passage. A plurality of rectifier fins are disposed inward from the outer tubular member, standing radially and extending longitudinally, and spaced apart circumferentially from each other. The fins extend inclined at an angle with reference to the longitudinal central axis of the tubular members.

  • Publication number: 20190021243
Abstract: A power blower includes a power blower main body and a blower tube member. The main body takes in air through an air intake portion by rotation of a blower fan rotated by a motor and discharges the air from an air discharge portion. The blower tube member has an opening on a base end side through which air discharged from the air discharge portion of the main body flows in, and an opening on a tip end side from which the air which has flowed in, is blown out. When a plane perpendicular to an axis of the blower tube member is in contact with the opening at the tip end side of the blower tube member, blown-air passages are formed on opposite sides of contact portions of the opening at the tip end side of the blower tube member and the plane.
