Abstract: A catheter that includes a shaft in which a shaft lumen communicating from a distal end to a proximal end; a hub attached to the proximal end of the shaft; and a reinforcing tube surrounding the shaft, includes an inner peripheral surface in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the shaft and an outer peripheral surface in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the hub, and protrudes to a distal end side with respect to a distal end of the hub, in which at least a part of an inner peripheral surface of the reinforcing tube in the hub is welded to at least a part of the outer peripheral surface of the shaft, and at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing tube in the hub is welded to at least a part of the inner peripheral surface of the hub.
