  • Patent number: 8728268
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a resin molding can be provided that uses a laser beam. The method can include providing the resin molding including welded portions that can impart high level of adhesion, have excellent appearance and provide very strong bonding strength. The method can also include arranging and pressing a weld region of a light-absorbing resin member and corresponding weld region of a light-transmitting resin member that are opposed to each other, and setting a plurality of irradiation areas in the extending direction of the welded regions. The method can also include arranging a plurality of laser irradiation scanning heads corresponding to the irradiation areas. Here, the irradiation areas can include a single irradiation area which the corresponding scanning head can irradiate with the laser beam and a composite irradiation area which the adjacent scanning heads can irradiate with respective laser beams.

  • Publication number: 20110233806
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a vehicle lighting part in accordance with principles of the presently disclosed subject matter can include using a mold including a fixed section, a movable section, and a core section to slide according to a movement of the movable section, and an injection molding unit. The exemplary method can also include putting a first mixture of the molding compound and a chemical foaming agent into the injection molding unit, the molding compound containing polypropylene series resin to which a predetermined amount of talc is added. The method can also include producing a second mixture by enclosing a physical foaming agent in the first mixture in the injection molding unit. Finally, the exemplary method can include injecting the second mixture from the injection molding unit into the mold to fill the mold, and performing a core back of the core section immediately after injecting the second mixture into the mold to fill the mold.

  • Patent number: 5427044
Abstract: A sewing machine that permits selection of an outer profile for a frame pattern on an outer profile selection screen displayed on a pattern display, selection of a line shape for the frame pattern on a line shape selection screen displayed on the pattern display, and sewing of the frame pattern in accordance with a combination of the selected outer profile and line shape. Accordingly, since an outer profile and a line shape for a frame pattern are selected in combination, a large number of patterns can be selected using a small number of pattern selection screens and a frame pattern can be selected simply on the sewing machine.

  • Patent number: 5299519
Abstract: In a sewing machine, a needle and a work fabric are relatively moved in X and Y directions according to driving data indicative of a needle location. An external ROM, which functions as an external memory, preliminarily stores compressed stitch data or compressed display data, and also preliminarily stores a program for converting the compressed stitch data into the driving data indicative of the needle location or a program for converting the compressed display data into dot pattern data. The manner of compression of the stitch data and the display data is not limited, thereby improving the flexibility of the external memory.

  • Patent number: 5144902
Abstract: A thread trimmer for a pattern sewing machine is disclosed. When the pattern sewing machine forms patterns, a pattern is connected to a next pattern by a crossover thread. The thread trimmer automatically cuts a specified portion of the crossover thread. Therefore, the operator can avoid the troublesome and time-consuming cutting of the crossover thread manually with scissors. Furthermore, the sewing efficiency of the pattern sewing machine is enhanced.
