Abstract: An image data processing system includes a digital camera having a camera section for converting a light from a substance to be recorded into image data, and a first memory section for storing said image data therein, first processing device, for storing the image data, provided outside said digital camera and having a second memory section for storing said image data therein; second processing device for processing said image data in accordance with instructions from said first processing device; communication apparatus having communication sections which transmit and receive data, said communication sections being provided for said digital camera, said first processing device and said second processing device, and communication circuits for connecting said communication sections to each other; and device for giving instructions on processing to be executed by said first processing device from said digital camera.

Abstract: An image data printing system includes an image data memory device for storing image data therein, a print device including a first memory section obtaining and storing the image data stored in said image data memory device therein, print data making device for converting the image data stored in said first memory section into print data every time execution of print is instructed, a print section capable of printing an image according to said print data, a second memory section storing the image data stored in said first memory section after the print section has completed printing and communication device including communication sections for transmitting and receiving the image data which are provided respectively for said image data memory device and said print device, and communication passages for connection said communication sections to each other.

Abstract: An image data processing system includes a digital camera having an image pick-up means for conversing the light from a photographic object into the image data, an image data memory apparatus having the first memory section which can store the image data, and a communication apparatus having a communication section respectively provided in the digital camera and the image data memory apparatus, and the communication section transmitting and receiving the image data, and a communication path to which the communication section is connected, wherein the first memory section is provided with a cache area in which the stored image data is deleted at need and the new image data is stored, and a saving area in which the image data is accumulated.
