  • Publication number: 20060253626
Abstract: A programmable controller system includes a programmable controller apparatus, a remote input and output apparatus connected to the programmable controller apparatus via a field bus and a monitoring apparatus configured to be located on a communication path between the programmable controller apparatus and the remote input and output apparatus and to monitor a communication data therebetween. The monitoring apparatus includes a rewritable tag for prescribing a condition for issuing a transmission request command with respect to an external equipment deterioration diagnosis and a command issuing part issues a transmission request command required for the external equipment deterioration diagnosis with reference to the tag. A preferable data logging operation is carried out properly without any PLC operation.

  • Patent number: 6944575
Abstract: Providing a slave that can precisely measure operating time of an output device that is service information, without having effects on a control system. To Mix slave 13 connected to a field network 12, an actuator 14 and sensor 15 that detects completion of operation of the actuator are connected. Having a built-in timer, the Mix slave measures time from when OUT terminal to which the actuator is connected turns ON until IN terminal to which the sensor is connected turns ON, by using the timer. Time thus obtained will be operating time of the output device. Comparison of this operating time with a setting will determine whether or not the actuator normally operates.

  • Patent number: 5400302
Abstract: A dial-type timer device having a timer body and a dial on a face of the timer body. A cover, including a locking pawl, is placed on the face of the timer body so that the dial protrudes through a hole therein. A setting ring is mounted on the dial and engages the locking pawl at a selected location to repeatedly set the time. Alternatively, two setting rings, each including a tooth on its outer periphery, are mounted on the dial to limit the range of rotation of the dial. Also, in a timing circuit of the timer, a dummy resistor of substantially the same impedance as an output relay, with its own switching element is connected in series with the output relay. By switching current alternatively through the output relay and the dummy resistor, fluctuation of current in the circuit is minimized and stable power is supplied to the time-limit circuit.
