  • Patent number: 11143755
Abstract: A radar apparatus detects objects in a vicinity of a host vehicle on which the radar apparatus is mounted. The radar apparatus includes a microcomputer configured to operate as a prediction processor that calculates a prediction position of a previously detected target in a current detection cycle and an extrapolation processor that executes an extrapolation to determine that a same target as the previously detected target exists in the prediction position for the current detection cycle. The extrapolation processor executes the extrapolation when the prediction position is outside a detection range of the radar apparatus and a speed of the host vehicle is lower than a predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20210263613
Abstract: A capacitive electronic pen includes a housing, a core body, and a peripheral electrode. In the capacitive electronic pen, the core body includes an electrode core formed of a conductor having a spherical section and a shaft center section. The spherical section of the electrode core is not surrounded by the peripheral electrode and is disposed on a tip (distal) end of the capacitive electronic pen protruding from one opening in the axial direction of the housing. The shaft center section of the electrode core has multiple portions that vary in thickness (a cross-section size) including a thin portion, which coupled with the spherical section, and a thick portion. When the core body is fitted to the core body holder, at least a portion of the shaft center section of the electrode core is thinner than the diameter of the spherical section of the electrode core.

  • Publication number: 20210247858
Abstract: An electronic pen includes a housing, a core body having a front end that protrudes from an opening in a side of the housing, and a coupling member housing one or more components of the electronic pen. The housing includes a first housing portion and a second housing portion separated in an axial direction of the housing. The first housing portion includes an opening arranged such that the front end of the core body protrudes outside while the first housing portion is electrically separated from the core body. A protrusion portion formed on an outer peripheral surface of the coupling member electrically separates the first and second housing portions. One side of the cylindrical coupling member in the axial direction with respect to the protrusion portion is fitted to the first housing portion, and another side in the axial direction is fitted to the second housing portion.
