    Abstract: A cathode ray tube light ray source uses only a single current control electrode between the cathode and anode, and the aperture in the electrode is between 1 mm and 3 mm in diameter. The distance from cathode to current control electrode is also between 1 mm and 3 mm. The anode is preferably a graphite film deposited on the interior of the envelope and extending over the entire distance from the current control electrode to the fluorescent screen.
