Abstract: A gas generator includes a housing main body made of metal, a holder assembly, and an igniter. The holder assembly includes a holder portion made of metal and a connector portion made of resin. The holder portion includes a first barrel portion and an annular projection. The connector portion includes a second barrel portion and a cylindrical portion. The cylindrical portion is inserted in the housing main body and externally attached to the first barrel portion. As a portion of the housing main body corresponding to the cylindrical portion is decreased in diameter, the cylindrical portion is compressed by being sandwiched between the portion of the housing main body decreased in diameter and the first barrel portion so as to seal a gap between the housing main body and the first barrel portion.

Abstract: The disk drive unit is capable of restraining deformation and vibrations of a disk medium without enlarging size and increasing weight. The disk drive unit, which rotates the disk medium so as to read data from and/or write data in the disk medium, comprises: a pick-up for reading data from and/or write data in the disk medium, the pick-up moving in a prescribed direction; and a top case for covering over an upper face of the disk medium, the top case having an inner face, from which a projection is projected toward the disk medium in the direction perpendicular to the prescribed direction.

The driving mechanism automatically retracts the tray into and ejects the tray from the main body. The driving mechanism moves the tray when the tray is pushed toward inside of the main body. With this structure, no button for ejecting and retracting the tray is required, and the tray can be ejected and retracted by the same action.
