  • Patent number: 11931043
Abstract: A clip device for gripping biological tissue of a patient includes a clip having a first arm and second arm closeable by operation of a wire that is reciprocally moveable in a longitudinal channel of a sheath; and a bendable member at a distal end region of the sheath. The bendable member can be an integral portion of the sheath or a separate structure. The bendable member is configured to allow a distal end of a clip to rotate or swing toward a proximal end region of the sheath of the device, which orients the clip relative to the sheath to facilitate grasping of tissue even when the approach of the clip is tangential to the tissue, e.g., at an angle (?) less than 90. The bendable member can be configured to allow a distal end of a clip to rotate or swing toward a proximal end region of a sheath and form an angle of up to at least about 45 degrees, such up to about 60 degrees or up to about 90 degrees, or higher.

  • Patent number: 9398231
Abstract: A surveillance camera terminal includes an imaging means that outputs a frame image, an imaging visual field control means that changes the imaging visual field of the imaging means in a surveillance area, an object extracting means that extracts an object being imaged by processing the frame image taken by the imaging means, a tracking means that detects a position of the object in the surveillance area based on a position of the object extracted by the object extracting means on the frame image and the imaging visual field of the imaging means, an imaging visual field storage means that stores an imaging visual field, and detection means that detects whether or not the object being tracked by the tracking means has traveled to a position near a handover area for handover of the object to another surveillance camera terminal.

  • Patent number: 9041786
Abstract: A monitoring system has a plurality of monitoring terminals communicably connected to each other. Each monitoring terminal has an imaging portion for imaging a monitoring area allocated to an own-terminal, a tracing portion for processing an imaged image of the imaging portion and tracing a target person traveling in the monitoring area, a tracing information creation portion for creating tracing information associating the target person traced by the tracing portion with tracing start time, tracing stop time, and characteristic information of the target person, a tracing information storage portion for storing the tracing information created by the tracing information creation portion, and a tracing information notification portion for notifying the tracing information created by the tracing information creation portion to the other monitoring terminals.
