  • Patent number: 11619555
Abstract: A pressure detection sensor having a piezoelectric film with a first region and a second region located outside the first region, the piezoelectric film being deformable by a pressing operation, a first electrode pair disposed on a first main surface and a second main surface in the first region of the piezoelectric film, and a second electrode pair formed on a first main surface and a second main surface in the second region of the piezoelectric film. When the piezoelectric film receives a pressing operation, the first electrode pair outputs a voltage having a polarity different from that of the second electrode pair.

  • Publication number: 20220357145
Abstract: An electronic device is provided that includes a first body, a second body having a structure that rotates with respect to the first body about a central axis, a first sensor that outputs a first detection signal having a first output value indicating that an open angle formed by the first body and the second body is a reference angle, a second sensor that outputs a second detection signal having a second output value that changes under an influence of a change in the open angle, and a control unit that calculates the open angle based on the first detection signal and the second detection signal.

  • Patent number: 11454520
Abstract: A housing which is foldable along a folding position into a folded state. A displacement detection sensor is located in the housing and has a displacement detection film having a main surface. First and second electrodes are disposed on first and second spaced regions of the main surface, respectively. The displacement detection film is disposed in the housing so as to straddle the folding position with the first region of the main surface, and with it the first electrode, being located on a first side of the folding position and a second region of the main surface, and with it the second electrode, being located on a second, opposite side of the folding position.

  • Publication number: 20220244114
Abstract: A bending sensor is provided that includes a piezoelectric element disposed on a bendable substrate; a voltage detection circuit that detects a voltage generated in the piezoelectric element; and an arithmetic unit that calculates an integrated value by integrating the voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit and associates the integrated value with a bent state of the substrate. Moreover, the arithmetic unit calculates in advance a corrected integrated value obtained by correcting a maximum value of the integrated value with a decrease value resulting from a stress relieving effect, associates the corrected integrated value with a first bent state of the substrate, and normalizes a calculated integrated value based on the corrected integrated value.

  • Patent number: 11073435
Abstract: A three-dimensional grip detection sensor is provided that includes an outer wall. When a first region in the outer wall receives pressing operation, it undergoes first deformation recessed inward from the outer wall, and a second region undergoes second deformation opposite to first deformation and that projects outward from the outer wall. The three-dimensional grip detection sensor further includes a three-dimensional object that receives pressing operation, with a first sensor disposed on an outer wall and a second sensor disposed at a position asymmetric to the first sensor. Each of the first and second sensors includes a piezoelectric film deformed by the pressing operation, first and second electrodes on a first main surface of the piezoelectric film and disposed in parallel with the first electrode, and a reference electrode on a second main surface of the piezoelectric film.

  • Patent number: 11023069
Abstract: A pressure sensor that includes a piezoelectric film having a flat part and a curved part and having opposed first and second main surfaces, a first electrode on the first main surface of the piezoelectric film, and a second electrode on the second main surfaces of the piezoelectric film. When the flat part of the piezoelectric film receives a pressing operation a first output is generated, and when the curved part of the piezoelectric film receives a pressing operation a second output different from the first output is generated.
