  • Publication number: 20050047420
Abstract: In a mobile IPv6 network having multiple distributed regression home agents and a load balance method for the multiple regression home agents, the network comprises a plurality of mobile subnets connected to each other through an Internet. Each mobile subnet comprises an access router, a plurality of mobile nodes, and a plurality of regression agents. The regression agents are arranged in a distributed topology structure. The regression agents exchange information with each other by performing a broadcast of traffic load information (table) among the regression agents. Further, each of the regression agents has a traffic load table to perform the load balance operation accordingly.

  • Patent number: 6829232
Abstract: A server 3b for controlling a gateway 2 connecting a transport layer and an IP network has the function of accessing a service control point (SCP) 4 via a service control gateway 1a. A server 3 for controlling terminals on the IP network stores information of correspondence between telephone number of a terminal and the IP address. When a signal including number information which requires an access to the SCP is received from a terminal 11 managed by the server 3a, an interrogation request is multicasted to the other servers each having the function of accessing the SCP. A server which has sent a response signal accesses the SCP via the service control gateway to provide an IN service process.

  • Publication number: 20040008706
Abstract: A method serves to compose a VPN (Virtual Private Network) over a plurality of networks, each of which is managed by a different Internet Service Provider (ISP). When a packet with a first capsule header used for composing a VPN in a first ISP network is transmitted to a second ISP network, a route for outputting the packet to the second ISP network is determined based on the information both in the capsule header and in the IP header. In addition, a second capsule header used for composing a VPN in the second ISP network is determined based on the above information.

  • Patent number: 6055238
Abstract: A communication network system comprising pairs of connection lines (3) composed of input lines and output lines, a switchboard (1) which relays a packet received from one of the input lines to one of the output lines specified by the header information contained in the packet, and terminals (2) connected to the switchboard through the connection lines (3). Each terminal (2) is provided with a communication controller (222 or 23a) which converts call control messages to be transmitted to the switchboard (1) and information messages to be transmitted to other terminals into packets of predetermined formats, sends them through the input lines, and converts packets received through the output lines and the switchboard (1) into messages. A master terminal (2a) which is one of the terminals is provided with a call processing program (224) for performing the call control of the switchboard (1).

  • Patent number: 5749053
Abstract: A mobile communication network is provided with a plurality of base stations each of which communicates with a plurality of mobile stations, a plurality of base station controllers (BSC) or control stations each of which is connected to a group of base stations, and switching centers each of which is connected to a plurality of BSC's. The BSC's are interconnected by an exclusive network and terminal information of the mobile stations are stored by the respective local service points (SCP) of the BSC's in a decentralized manner. When an authentication processing and the retrieval of location data for a mobile station is to be made by each BSC and in the case where necessary terminal information is not held in the local SCP of that BSC, the BSC broadcasts a request message for transfer of terminal information or vicarious execution of authentication processing to other BSC's through the exclusive network and waits for a response message from a BSC in which the necessary terminal information is held.

  • Patent number: 5701412
Abstract: A trigger is armed to a predetermined detection point (DP) of a basic call state model controlled for each call by a switching system so that a service control point (SCP) can be unconditionally activated. The SCP stores service control information for each time band in such a manner as to correspond to each user. When a first control signal is received from the switching system, the DP which is determined by the service control information is notified to the switching system and the switching system arms the trigger to this DP. When the state of the call shifts to a specific DP to which the trigger is armed because a called party is busy or does not answer, for example, the switching system sends a second control signal to the SCP, and the SCP notifies a terminating terminal equipment determined by the service control information in response to the second control signal.

  • Patent number: 5612959
Abstract: Distributed LANs are connected to a wide area network through terminal adapters, which are interconnected by virtual circuits to form a logical bus network. Each terminal adapter copies cells received through the virtual circuit that is allocated for multicasting, and transfers the copied cells to the adjacent terminal adapters via preset virtual circuits. The terminal adapters assemble a part or all of the transmitted message from the received cells and, according to the contents of the assembled message, transfer the copies of the cells to the adjacent terminal adapters through predetermined virtual circuits.

  • Patent number: 5129046
Abstract: A method of converting with the aid of a computer a data flow description chart containing a plurality of process elements each receiving a plurality of inputs and outputting one or plural data according to the result of processing and data lines interconnecting the plural process elements into a function design chart showing an outline of the data flow. A source program list corresponding to the data flow description chart is inputted to the computer. A statements analyzing program then consults a first description rule table prepared previously to thereby convert each statement of the source program describing the relation between each of the process elements and the plural input information inputted to each process element into an output data record including a graphic symbol to be displayed on the function design chart and comment. The comment imparted to each graphic symbol of the process element is the respresentative input information of those inputted to the process element.
