    Abstract: There is provided an olefin thermoplastic elastomer composition comprising the following components (A) and (B), said composition having been produced by first polymerizing a monomer of the component (A) and then polymerizing monomers of the component (B), said composition having such fractionation properties that, in temperature rising elution fractionation in the temperature range of 0 to 140° C. using o-dichlorobenzene as a solvent, the eluate obtained at 0° C. is 35 to 60% by weight based on the total elution weight and the eluate obtained at 80 to 100° C. is 1 to 5% by weight based on the total elution weight: (A) 30 to 60% by weight, based on the whole composition, of a propylene homopolymer component having an isotactic index of not less than 90%; and (B) 40 to 70% by weight, based on the whole composition, of a copolymer of propylene with other &agr;-olefin having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, said copolymer comprising propylene and ethylene as indispensable components.

    Abstract: A resin composition comprising the following component A, component B and component C:component A of polyphenylene ether resin; component B of crystalline polyolefin resin; and component C of graft modified copolymer in which an unsaturated copolymer consisting of ethylene or at least one of .alpha.-olefins having 3 to 12 carbon atoms and at least one of chain nonconjugated dienes of the following general formula is modified with a monomer capable of radical polymerization such as styrene. ##STR1## This resin composition has an improved impact strength, keeping heat resistance and mechanical strength characteristic of polyphenylene ether resins, and molding properties and resistance to organic solvents characteristic of polyolefin resins.

Thus, paints, etc. may be applied directly to the moldings, without surface treatment or washing thereof.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a thermoplastic resin composition formed by melt-kneading at a temperature of 300.degree. to 340.degree. C. a composition comprising (a) 10 to 95% by weight of a polyphenylene sulfide resin; (b) 90 to 5% by weight of a crystalline resin composed mainly of 3-methyl-1-butene, each of the amount of the components (a) and (b) being based on the sum of the components (a) and (b); (c) 5 to 20 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (a) and (b) of a partially hydrogenated alkenyl aromatic compound-conjugated diene copolymer; and (d) up to 150 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the sum of the components (a) and (b) of a fibrous filler. In this composition, the poor moldability of the polyphenylene sulfide resin is improved and the poor rigidity at a high temperature of the 3-methyl-1-butene polymer is improved, and excellent heat resistance, chemical resistance and mechanical strength inherently possessed by both the resins are retained.

The composition is prevented from increasing in temperature due to shearing during molding into a foamable sheet and, therefore, provides a uniform foamed product.
