Abstract: An electromagnetic relay for high frequency signal switching is provided. The electromagnetic relay has a small size, high isolation characteristics, and small loss. Fixed terminals are supported by the sides of a base composed of a dielectric material and having an internal space. A fixed contact on each fixed terminal is exposed to the internal space. The surface of the fixed terminal is disposed parallel to the bottom of the base, while a movable block is disposed in the internal space of said base. Signal lines are formed from the fixed terminals and a movable contact piece. Shielding portions to be grounded are disposed at either upper or lower part of the internal space corresponding to the signal lines.
