  • Publication number: 20240252779
Abstract: A gas flow control structure for a respiratory therapy system, which may be located on a patient interface, may function as both an anti-asphyxia valve (AAV) and a vent. The gas flow control structure may comprise: a base member; a vent member comprising a vent opening through which a flow of gas can pass from a pressurised first volume to an ambient second volume; an AAV opening formed between the base member and the vent member; and an AAV member. The AAV member may be a flexible, resilient membrane substantially annular in shape when projected on to a plane. The AAV member may be movable between: an activated configuration in which gas can flow between the first and second volumes through the AAV opening; and a deactivated configuration in which the AAV member forms a seal with the vent member so gas is blocked from flowing through the AAV opening.

  • Publication number: 20240241820
Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide an automated testing pipeline for providing a testing dataset for testing a trained neural network model trained using a first training dataset. A first testing dataset for the trained neural network including a first plurality of user queries is received. A dependency parser is used to filter the first plurality of user queries based on one or more action verbs. A pretrained language model is used to rank the remaining user queries based on respective relationships with queries in the first training dataset. Further, user queries that are classified as keyword matches with the queries in the first training dataset using a bag of words classifier are removed. A second testing dataset is generated using the ranked remaining user queries. Testing outputs are generated, by the trained neural network model, using the second testing dataset.

  • Patent number: 12001798
Abstract: A system performs named entity recognition for performing natural language processing, for example, for conversation engines. The system uses context information in named entity recognition. The system includes the context of a sentence during model training and execution. The system generates high quality contextual data for training NER models. The system utilizes labeled and unlabeled contextual data for training NER models. The system provides NER models for execution in production environments. The system uses heuristics to determine whether to use a context-based NER model or a simple NER model that does not use context information. This allows the system to use simple NER models when the likelihood of improving the accuracy of prediction based on context is low.

  • Publication number: 20240073247
Abstract: A system communicates, with a client device, to establish a first TLS communication session between the system and the client device, and with a server device, to establish a second TLS communication session between the system and the server device. The system generates a first session ticket associated with the first TLS communication session, and obtains, from the server device, a second session ticket associated with the second TLS communication session. The system sends, to the client device and via the first TLS communication session, the first session ticket, with the second session ticket included in the first session ticket. The system receives, from the client device and after the first TLS communication session and the second TLS communication session terminate, the first session ticket that includes the second session ticket, which the system uses to facilitate resumption of the first TLS communication session and the second TLS communication session.

  • Patent number: 11880659
Abstract: Methods and systems for hierarchical natural language understanding are described. A representation of an utterance is inputted to a first machine learning model to obtain information on the first utterance. According to the information on the utterance a determination that the representation of the utterance is to be inputted to a second machine learning model that performs a dedicated natural language task is performed. In response to determining that the representation of the utterance is to be inputted to a second machine learning model, the utterance is inputted to the second machine learning model to obtain an output of the dedicated natural language task.

  • Publication number: 20230410833
Abstract: A speech-capture device can capture audio data during wakeword monitoring and use the audio data to determine if a user is present nearby the device, even if no wakeword is spoken. Audio such as speech, human originating sounds (e.g., coughing, sneezing), or other human related noises (e.g., footsteps, doors closing) can be used to detect audio. Audio frames are individually scored as to whether a human presence is detected in the particular audio frames. The scores are then smoothed relative to nearby frames to create a decision for a particular frame. Presence information can then be sent according to a periodic schedule to a remote device to create a presence “heartbeat” that regularly identifies whether a user is detected proximate to a speech-capture device.
