  • Publication number: 20240013382
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for determining progression of atrial fibrillation (AF) based on hemodynamic metrics. In conventional CFD models, effect of the AF on a cardiovascular system is not modeled and evaluation of associated hemodynamic metrics and its effect on a Left Atrium (LA) dynamics is not considered. The method and system for determining progression of the AF based on the hemodynamic metrics, analyzes the effect of the AF on cardiovascular parameters of the LA and a left Ventricle (LV), for AF variations. A 3D-CFD model is modelled from a plurality of scan images of a heart of a subject and the AF variations are incorporated in a zero-dimensional (OD) lumped cardiovascular hemodynamic model along with a novel rhythm generator that are used for extracting a plurality of LA hemodynamic metrics of wall shear stress (WSS) that are possible indicators for progression of the AF.

  • Patent number: 11498449
Abstract: Charging apparatus and methods are provided that support multiple charging devices. In an embodiment, a charging apparatus includes a secondary signal generator (SSG) and an output circuit. The SSG receives charging control signals and generates one or more secondary charging control signals. The output circuit outputs the charging control signals to a primary charging device and the one or more secondary charging control signals to one or more secondary charging devices, thereby enabling the use of multiple charging devices in battery applications. In an embodiment, the secondary charging signals are pulse width modulated to control the current output of the secondary charging devices to avoid over-current conditions.

  • Patent number: 11271903
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system. During operation, the system determines a first set of ciphers supported by a name server based on a name lookup response message. The system then inserts an entry associated with the name server in a data structure stored in a local storage device. Subsequently, the system identifies a second set of ciphers supported by a local name server in a name lookup query message destined to the name server. The system then selects the name lookup query message for an update operation based on the entry in the data structure. The update operation includes removing ciphers from the name lookup query message except a common cipher, which is present in both the first and second sets of ciphers. The system determines an egress port corresponding to the name server for the updated name lookup query message.

  • Patent number: 11240186
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for identifying converged conversation threads. A number of the most recent messages in a conversation thread are selected. Selected messages that are action messages or query messages are identified. Scores are then assigned to the action and query messages. A determination is then made as to whether the conversation thread is converged or non-converged based upon the scores. Data is then stored that indicates that the conversation thread is converged or non-converged. The stored data can be used to locate converged or non-converged threads and identify the threads in a UI as such.
