The shell having an opening for receiving the body member through the opening such that the body member is substantially enclosed within and fills the shell, and the shell closely conforming to the body member. The body member is selectively insertable into, and removable from, the shell through the opening in order to provide a predetermined three-dimensional shape to the toy.

Abstract: Methods and systems may provide for obtaining a query image of a scene, wherein the query image includes embedded information and represents the scene at a time of capture. The embedded information may include location data and perspective data. Additionally, user input may be received, wherein the user input identifies a different time than the time of capture. A time-shifted image of the scene may be obtained based on the user input and the embedded information in the query image. Crowd sources and/or other public information sources may also be used to obtain the time-shifted image. In one example, the time-shifted image represents the scene at the different time.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for media access control (MAC) layer processing to support social networking and advertisements over the MAC layer of a local personal area network (PAN). An application interface permits a service category corresponding to the application to be selected, and further permits service announcements corresponding to the application to be advertised. Generator logic may generate the service announcements to be advertised. The MAC layer processor inserts the service announcements into beacons in the local MAC layer of the local PAN and also receives advertisements from other devices over the MAC layer of the local PAN. Monitor logic can monitor the MAC layer of the local PAN for advertisements corresponding to the selected service category. The monitor logic is also operatively coupled with the application interface for displaying advertised services corresponding to the selected service category.

Abstract: Embodiments of methods and apparatus for wirelessly transmitting a plurality of beacons describing one or more services offered by a service providing device are disclosed. In some embodiments, the service providing device transmits a first beacon including a first component providing a basic description of one or more services offered by the service providing device, and a second component providing a first part of an expanded description of the one or more services; and transmits wirelessly a second beacon including another first component re-providing the basic description of the one or more services, and another second component providing a second part of the expanded description of the one or more services.
