SHIVASHANKAR MADDANIMATH VEERAYYA has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 11959791
Abstract: A triple authentication waste level monitoring system for an aircraft includes a point level sensor for monitoring a wastewater level within a waste tank, a load cell for measuring a weight of the waste tank, and a flush counter for counting a number of toilet flushes since a previous service to the waste tank. A controller receives data from these three sensors and determines whether the waste tank is at capacity. The controller can determine waste tank capacity whether or not the point level sensor is faulty and compares the sensor data with various thresholds to ensure accuracy of the waste tank fluid level determination.

  • Patent number: 11940527
Abstract: A synthetic visual system for an aircraft may comprise: a camera in electronic communication with a controller; a radar system in electronic communication with the controller; a three-dimensional cockpit display in electronic communication with the controller via a synthetic weather system; and a tangible, non-transitory memory configured to communicate with the controller. The three-dimensional cockpit display may be configured to display a three-dimensional weather image based on correlated data between the radar system and the camera.

  • Publication number: 20230350095
Abstract: A method for controlling a touchless lavatory is disclosed herein. The method includes forming one or more groups of sensors from a plurality of sensors, determining that a trigger event is detected from the first sensor, and identifying a first group of sensors of the one or more groups of sensors to which the first sensor belongs. The method further includes requesting an ambient light measurement from each of the plurality of sensor. The method further includes computing an average ambient light value based on the ambient light measurement, comparing the ambient light measurement of the first sensor to the average ambient light value of all the sensors, determining that the ambient light measurement of the first sensor is less than the average ambient light value of all the sensors, and determining that the first sensor trigger event is valid.
