An amount of the polylactic acid is 97% by mass or greater relative to a total amount of organic matter in the foam sheet. When the foam sheet is cut into a square test piece, and the test piece is heated and stored for 90 minutes in a hot air circulation dryer a temperature of which is maintained at 90° C.±2° C., a change rate of an area of the test piece before and after the heat storage is within ±15%. An average thickness of the foam sheet is 0.5 mm or greater.
