  • Publication number: 20250135626
Abstract: A magnetic drill press includes a magnetic base, a main body portion coupled to the magnetic base, a drill unit including a spindle and supported by the main body portion to be movable in a direction parallel to a rotation axis of the spindle, a battery attachment portion configured to detachably hold a battery, and a cover configured to at least partially cover the battery attachment portion. The battery attachment portion includes a rail extending in a straight line in a first direction and configured to slidingly engage with a groove of the battery, and a terminal portion including a terminal configured to be electrically connected with a terminal of the battery. The cover is displaceable relative to the main body portion, and configured to overlap an entirety of the terminal portion, when the cover is at a first position and viewed from a first side in the first direction.

  • Publication number: 20240408737
Abstract: A driver-drill (1) includes a motor (6) having a stator (61) and a rotor (62); an output part (8) including: a spindle (81), which is disposed more forward than the motor and, in response to application of a rotational force transmitted from the rotor, is rotated around a rotational axis (AX) extending in the front-rear direction; and a chuck (82), which is mounted on the spindle; and a speed-reducing mechanism (30), which is configured to rotate the output part at a rotational speed that is lower than the rotational speed of the rotor but at a higher torque. The maximum fastening torque of the output part is 160 N·m or more.
