  • Patent number: 10352756
Abstract: A mass measurement device comprises a force sensor, a hose, a base part, an article-holding part, and a computation unit. The force sensor has a fixed end and a free end, and outputs a sensing signal in accordance with the magnitude of a force in a sensitivity direction. The hose is configured to pass suctioned air through it. The fixed end is fixed to the base part. The article-holding part is fixed to the free end, one end of the hose is connected to the article-holding part, and the article-holding part holds an article by air suction. The computation unit computes the mass of the article based on the sensing signal.

  • Patent number: 9809333
Abstract: A box-packing system having a first conveyor, a first robot that applies suction, holds, and transports a package, and a control device. The package includes soft packaging material, and is conveyed by the first conveyor. The control device operates the first robot to move the package to a box-packing preparation area. The first robot has a suction part applying suction the package from above, an arm that moves the suction part in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, and a servomotor. The servomotor drives the arm so that the suction part can apply suction to the package at a predetermined vertical location. An acquisition part of the control device acquires thickness information of the package. The determination part determines the predetermined height location based the thickness information. The command generation part drives the servomotor in response to the predetermined height location determined by the determination part.

  • Patent number: 7053317
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a hopper having a simplified structure that can prevent fragments of component parts generated by vibrations and bolts, nuts, etc., that have fallen out of place from intermixing with the articles in the weighing hoppers or on the conveyor of a combination weighing apparatus. A link mechanism for opening and closing a gate is arranged on a plate provided on one side of the box-like body of a pool hopper. A cover that covers the entire link mechanism is provided and the cover is configured such that it can be freely attached to and detached from the box-like body. The cover can be attached to and detached from the box-like body by engaging and disengaging an engaging member of the cover with and from a nut coupled to the box-like body.
