The registrant's information may be compared to a database of such information. The registrant is verified by establishing a connection with the registrant via the registrant contact. The verification code is communicated to the registrant, which is input into an on-line form or a telephone verification system. Notification events are established, and the registrant is notified of the occurrence of a previously established notification event by establishing a connection with the registrant via the registrant contact.

Abstract: A process for dynamic routing of customer contacts to call recipients includes establishing accounts in a call recipient contact system for a plurality of call recipients. The plurality of call recipients are permitted to bid against one another for providing goods and/or services to a customer. A contact list is created and call recipients are ranked from a lowest bidding call recipient to a highest bidding call recipient. The contact is received from a customer and routed to the lowest bidding call recipient on the contact list. The call recipient account receiving the contact and fulfilling the transaction is credited an amount bid by the call recipient.

Abstract: A process for conducting a backgammon tournament using tournament chips comprising the steps of registering two or more tournament players, assigning one or more tournament chips to each of the players, setting a chip value for each point scored in a game of backgammon, pairing tournament players in groups of two, playing a round of the tournament consisting of games of backgammon involving each group of tournament players, determining whether a tournament player is eliminated from the tournament based upon each player's tournament chip total, and repeating the steps of setting, pairing, playing and determining until only one tournament player remains. The process may be performed online or in person.

Abstract: An on-line forum for auctioning non-performing assets includes offering for auction sale of non-performing assets in a lot of as few as a single asset or a plurality of assets following completion of a third-level registration. Access to a limited amount of information on the on-line forum is permitted without registration. Additional information is accessed following completion of a first level registration. Direct communication is facilitated between one or more registered potential bidders and a registered seller in an on-line discussion forum. Assets offered in the on-line forum auction are bidded upon following completion of second level registration by each potential bidder. Collection assistance may be provided to the on-line forum bidders.

Abstract: The invention provides a process for verifying an on-line registration by telephone. A registrant at least partially completes an on-line registration form at a web-site. During the registration process, the registrant either provides his telephone number, or a verification system telephone number is provided to the registrant. A telephonic connection is established between the registrant and the verification system. A registration code is communicated to the registrant, either through the web-site or via the telephonic connection. The registration code is then input into either the on-line registration form or by telephone into the verification system.

These include, the type of phone associated with the telephone number, the phone carrier of the telephone number, and geographic characteristics of the telephone number. This can be done, for instance, by analyzing the telephone connection or querying a database containing a plurality of telephone numbers and characteristics of each of the telephone numbers. The determination may be used to prevent fraudulent or restricted access to a website or system.
