  • Patent number: 8833272
Abstract: A table is provided that comprises a composite table top including a honeycomb core and a laminate layer on a top surface of said core and a plurality of ribs arranged substantially parallel to each other along a length of the core, the ribs including a top plate affixed to the core, a bottom beam opposite the top plate, and a web structure connecting the top plate to the bottom beam. The web structure defines a plurality of openings therethrough. The table further includes a leg assembly including a center beam extending parallel to the length dimension of the core perpendicular to the plurality of ribs, with support legs engaged to the opposite ends of the center beam and configured to support the table top. The table is provided with at least two pivot mechanisms, each pivot mechanism connected between the center beam and the composite table top.

  • Patent number: 5178300
Abstract: A fluid dispensing unit includes a hollow support with a reservoir or container located within the support. The container has a one-way valve at its outlet for dispensing fluid while preventing any flow of contaminants back into the container. As fluid is dispensed, the container can be collapsed to assure complete evacuation of the fluid.

  • Patent number: 5080139
Abstract: A fluid dispensing valve is made up of a valve body laterally enclosed by an elastomeric sheath. The valve body is connected to a container from which fluid is dispensed through the valve body. The valve body has an inlet passage for flowing the fluid from the container to a space between the elastomeric sheath and an outer surface of the valve body. An outlet passage through the valve body, spaced angularly from the inlet passage, has an opening through the outer surface of the valve body covered by the elastomeric sheath, so that fluid pressed out of the container can flow between the elastomeric sheath and the outer surface to the outlet passage and then be dispensed from the valve. The valve body can be a flat disk-like member.

  • Patent number: 5080138
Abstract: A fluid dispensing valve is made up of a plural part valve body enclosed by an elastomeric sheath sealed at spaced locations to the outside surface of the valve body. Fluid is dispensed out of a container through the dispensing valve. The arrangement of the valve body parts and the sheath permit flow out of the valve but prevent any flow back into the container. As a result contamination can not flow back through the valve into the container.
