  • Patent number: 11564769
Abstract: A registration fixture or plate is configured for use with a medical imaging system. The registration fixture may be an optical magnetic registration plate including a plurality of fiducial markers in arranged in a predefined unique pattern. The pattern can be unambiguously detected on 2D image of the plate produced by the medical imaging system. Association of the 2D imaged pattern of fiducial markers with the actual 3D pattern on the optical magnetic registration plate allows for accurate calculation of projection matrices and co-registration of the 3D and 2D coordinate systems.

  • Patent number: 10546396
Abstract: A system for registering a group of images of an anatomical region of a patient in a coordinate system of a medical system is disclosed. The system includes an object disposed in a known position in the coordinate system. In one embodiment, the object has a first state in which the object is visible in at least one image and a second state in which the object is invisible in at least another image. In another embodiment, the object is substantially invisible to the eye in each image, but detectable by image processing. The system includes an electronic control unit configured to process the images to identify an image location of the object, create a transformation model responsive to the image location and the known position of the object in the coordinate system, and register the group of images in the coordinate system using the model.

  • Patent number: 10476647
Abstract: Coherence based pre-decoding pruning for control channels in wireless communication systems is discussed. Data is received on at least one channel resource of a plurality of channel resources. In addition, the determining of a plurality of channel coherence metrics is discussed, where a channel coherence metric for a channel resource indicates coherence information between channels on which the plurality of carriers associated with the channel resource operate. Additionally, the determining of one or more channel resources to search for data to be decoded based, at least in part, on the plurality of channel coherence metrics is also discussed. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

  • Patent number: 8161433
Abstract: A proof of unsatisfiability associated with a bounded model may be extended to apply to another bounded model having a larger bound. In some exemplary embodiments, an unbounded model may be proved using one or more such extensions. A proof may be reordered in order to decrease its size and increase the productivity of systems that utilize it. The proof may be reorder by a natural temporal order of cycles.

  • Publication number: 20110224817
Abstract: A truck configuration satisfying a truck configuration problem is automatically determined. The truck configuration problem is transformed to a target function, outputting values indicative of configurations satisfying the truck configuration problem. Stochastic local search methods are applied on the target function to determine the truck configuration. Preprocessing may be performed to improve efficiency, performance or the like of the stochastic local search methods. The truck configuration problem may be obtained from several sources, which may be independent of one another.

  • Publication number: 20090254503
Abstract: A method and system for expertise extraction for an expert system, is provided. One implementation involves modeling active learning for interrogating an expert for knowledge as attributes of an n-dimensional hyper-cube where each attribute represents a possible output and every dimension represents a feature in a feature space; dividing the n-dimensional hyper-cube into m different attributes, each attribute representing a union of at most p cubes, wherein the n dimensions represent n boolean inputs and the m attributes represent m possible outputs; and discovering all possible outputs by querying a portion of the feature space for generating queries to an expert for all possible outputs, including obtaining at least one representative input for each of the m possible outputs, while using a limited number of queries to the hyper-cube.
