Abstract: A system and method for project-based uniform data analytics in a provider network. The system and method provide data projects. A data project is a secure container that brings people, data, and tools together to enable easy collaboration and access management for data analytic projects. A data project enables a group of users to collaborate on a particular business use case for producing and consuming data. A data project and its content are subject to their own access controls so that only authorized individuals, groups, and roles can access the projects and data that project has subscribed to, and only use tools permitted by project permissions.
