Abstract: A superconducting motor apparatus includes a superconducting motor including a superconducting coil and a mover movable on a basis of a movable magnetic field generated by the superconducting coil when an electric power is supplied thereto, a container defining an outer vacuum heat insulation chamber that covers an outer side of the superconducting motor, an extremely low temperature generating portion cooling the superconducting coil of the superconducting motor to a temperature equal to or smaller than a critical temperature of the superconducting coil, and a vibration damping element restraining one of or both of a vibration of the superconducting motor and an external vibration from being propagated to the extremely low temperature generating portion.
