  • Patent number: 7380784
Abstract: A paper sheet accumulating/feeding apparatus to execute an accumulating processing, in which paper sheets conveyed by a conveyance unit are accumulated in an accumulating unit in a direction of accumulation, and a feeding processing, in which paper sheets accumulated in the accumulating unit are fed to the conveyance unit, comprising a rotating member including one or more pieces, which spread radially from an axis thereof, the rotating member being provided in the vicinity of a connection between the conveyance unit and the accumulating unit to enable the piece or pieces to slap and move a paper sheet in the accumulating unit in the direction of accumulation at the time of accumulating processing, and a guide member provided to guide the piece or pieces to enable the same to be stored toward the axis of the rotating member, whereby the paper sheet accumulating/feeding apparatus is able to readily set the piece or pieces long and endures an operation over a long term and frequent operations.

  • Patent number: 6962333
Abstract: The invention provides a roller having excellent flexibility and wear resistance. The invention also provides a sheet delivery unit equipped with this roller. The unit is prevented from being clogged up with sheets due to rigidities of the sheets. Also, simultaneous delivery of plural sheets is suppressed. The allowable range of rigidities of paper currencies and the allowable range of their widths can be extended. The roller has a central portion extending along an axis, an outer peripheral portion formed around the central portion and made of a resilient body, and plural helical ribs connecting together the central portion and the outer peripheral portion. Each rib consists of a resilient body. Each rib is so shaped as to thicken gradually from the central portion toward the outer peripheral portion.

  • Publication number: 20050200072
Abstract: A sheet housing part of a sheet handling machine is provided with a guide member for adjusting a size of a housing space of the sheet housing part. A tip end part of the guide member is made pivotable, and is provided with a biasing member for swinging the tip end part in a direction of a side wall of the sheet housing part. A gap provided between the guide member and an inner wall of the sheet housing part is closed with this construction, and thereby, a foreign matter is prevented from entering this gap.
