  • Patent number: 7843318
Abstract: A control unit having an immobilizer function includes a circuit for transmitting a request signal within a predetermined range. After receiving a reply signal from an electronic key in response to this request signal once and allowing a movable body to move, when a reply signal to the periodically sent request signal is not received, it is determined that the electronic key is out of the range, and it is assumed that the key has been dropped. A monitor section outputs a warning signal and transmits the warning signal to the navigation unit. A navigation unit, in response to the warning signal, stores the location at that time as the positional information on the electronic key. The navigation unit also displays a map showing the location of a key based on positional information on the electronic key. With this system, a lost electronic key may be readily located.

  • Patent number: 7626494
Abstract: An electronic key system 100 for a moving body, for example an all-terrain vehicle 10, includes an electronic key 11 and a control unit 50. The electronic key 11 transmits a control code Md stored in a ROM 76. The control unit 50 reads a speed limit Vs and a power limit Ws out of one of first to fourth control mode data Md1 to Md4, which corresponds to the received control code Md, and supplies the limits to a drive control performing section 104. The drive control performing section 104 controls an engine 22 in accordance with the speed limit Vs and the power limit Ws to limit a travel speed V and power W. This renders the driving performance appropriate to the driving condition and/or the driver.

  • Patent number: 7498928
Abstract: An electronic key system for a vehicle provides a warning corresponding to a traveling state if an occupant has dropped the electronic key while a vehicle is running. A control unit 14 of the vehicle outputs a request signal Sr to the electronic key 12 at transmission intervals T corresponding to the traveling state. An answer signal Sa caused by the request signal Sr from the electronic key 12 is detected. A warning lamp 68 is lit up at a point after the detection of the answer signal Sa stops. The transmission interval T of the request signal Sr is specified in a map 88 stored in the control unit 14, and is set short corresponding to the increase of the vehicle speed V, the acceleration/deceleration ‘a’, and the yaw rate Y.

  • Patent number: 7475648
Abstract: In a personal watercraft with a watercraft body including a hull forming a bottom portion and a deck covering the hull from above, a magnet box is integrally combined with a battery storage tray. The watercraft also includes an engine disposed within the watercraft body, and a saddle-type seat disposed above the engine. A magnet box, including a main box body and a lid member, sealingly stores an electromagnetic starter switch therein, and is disposed in front of a battery storage tray, in order to reduce the distance between the magnetic starter switch and a starter motor. The main box body is formed integrally with a battery storage tray which is disposed in back of the engine and fixedly disposed on a floor portion of the watercraft body. The lid member is adapted to sealingly close the main box body of the magnet box in a fluid-tight manner.

  • Patent number: 7423867
Abstract: A portable electronic key easily findable even if dropped into water. The portable electronic key includes an upper cover and a lower cover, a hermetically sealed space is formed, in which electrical equipment such as a board, a battery, and an antenna are arranged. The upper cover and the lower cover are formed of foam resin, and a grain pattern is given to surfaces thereof. A specific gravity of the entire electronic key is set at 1 or less, thus enabling the portable electronic key to float on the surface of the water.

  • Patent number: RE34060
Abstract: In a static type RAM, a sense amplifier includes first and second dissymmetric type differential amplifier circuits each of which has a pair of differential transistors and an active load circuit such as a current mirror circuit connected to the drains of the differential transistors. One of balanced signals delivered from a memory cell is supplied to the non-inverting input terminal of the first dissymmetric type differential amplifier circuit and the inverting input terminal of the second dissymmetric type differential amplifier circuit. The other of said balanced signals is applied to the remaining input terminals of the first and second dissymmetric type differential amplifier circuits. As a result, notwithstanding that balanced signals cannot be delivered from each dissymmetric type differential amplifier circuit, amplified balanced signals can be obtained.
