  • Publication number: 20230333616
Abstract: A power source selection system can include a primary source line configured to be connected to a primary source having a primary voltage, a backup source line configured to connect to a backup source having a backup voltage, and a voltage divider and limiter connected to the primary source line to receive the primary voltage and to provide an sense signal on a sense line. The system can include a NAND gate connected to the voltage divider and limtier to receive the sense signal. The NAND gate can be configured to provide a gate signal to a gate line based on the sense signal. The system can include a switchover circuit connected to the backup source line and the gate line to receive the backup voltage and the gate signal. The switchover circuit can be configured to output the backup voltage to a switch line in a first state, and to prevent backup voltage to the switch line in a second state.

  • Patent number: 11664740
Abstract: A threshold detection system can be configured to monitor a location (e.g., a DC link) for overcurrent. The threshold detection system can be configured to generate a pulse width modulated signal with a duty cycle that is proportional to current through the DC link. The threshold detection system can be configured to determine whether the duty cycle exceeds a selected threshold.

  • Publication number: 20230060456
Abstract: A front-end architecture system includes a system voltage input and a controller electrically connected to the system voltage input. The controller is configured and adapted to provide a voltage output to at least one controller output. The controller includes a single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) and a monitoring and switchover circuit. A method for controlling a voltage input to a low-voltage power supply (LVPS) includes receiving a system voltage input with a controller, wherein the controller includes a single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC) and a monitoring and switchover circuit. The method includes providing a voltage output of the controller to at least one controller output. The method includes receiving the voltage output with a low-voltage power supply (LVPS) electrically connected to the at least one controller output.
