  • Publication number: 20250171008
Abstract: A system for situation awareness guided energy harvesting (SAGEH) in vehicles includes a cloud computing server, and sensors capturing information about a host vehicle and remote vehicles, and their environments. The vehicles and server each have a controller that executes a SAGEH application including triggering collection of host and remote vehicle information and environmental information, continuously observing a traffic signal and traffic situation along a host vehicle path along a road segment, generating an estimate of a quantity of time for the traffic signal to change status and generating an estimated quantity of time for the host vehicle to stop at the traffic signal, in response to one or more of the estimated quantities of time, generating a control output command. The control output command causes the host vehicle to dynamically, automatically, and adaptively harvest energy by engaging one or more of a stop/start system, and a regenerative braking system.

  • Patent number: 12293004
Abstract: A network system is provided that enables a user to record media in connection with a user operating a service application to participate in a transport service. In examples, the network system includes a user computing device on which media is recorded and stored in an unrenderable state. The user can elect to make a media recording submission for a particular service activity (e.g., trip provided or received by user). In response to the media recording submission, the user computing device identifies one or more media files that contain media data which depict the service activity. The identified media files are transmitted to a service computing system where the media files can be rendered.

  • Patent number: 12198476
Abstract: The use of multiple horizon optimization for vehicle dynamics and powertrain control of a vehicle is provided. Long horizon optimization for a trip of the vehicle is performed, and an optimal value function is determined. Data is received from powertrain and/or connectivity features from one or more of components of the vehicle. Short horizon optimization for the trip is performed using a rollout algorithm, the optimal value function, and the received data. The operation of the vehicle is adjusted using results of the short horizon optimization.

  • Patent number: 12118015
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein relating to ingesting data objects from various sources and associating them in a hierarchy with a profile. In some aspects, a data object, including a set of fields and indicating a data object type, may be obtained for associating with a profile maintained by a computing resource service provider. The data object may be converted into a standardized format based on the data object type indicated in the data object using an object mapping associated with the data object. A key associated with the data object and indicated in the object mapping may be selected and used to search an index for a related profile. Upon finding a profile with the matching key, the profile may be updated to include an association of the standardized data object, such as in a hierarchy.

  • Patent number: 11960459
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for merging customer profiles, such as may be implemented by a computer-implemented contact center service. In some aspects, a subset of profiles may be determined that satisfy merging criteria, where individual profiles include a plurality of data fields. At least one value in a first data field that conflicts between at least two profiles may be identified. Next a merged value may be selected for the first data field based on data deduplication criteria, where the data deduplication criteria includes at least one indicator of accuracy of values of the plurality of data fields. As a result of a determination that at least the subset of profiles of the group of profiles meet the merging criteria, at least the subset of profiles may be combined into a combined profile using the merged value.

  • Publication number: 20230242111
Abstract: A method for controlling vehicle energy consumption includes identifying, using a cumulative net energy consumption of a vehicle traversing a route, one or more route segments of the route being traversed by the vehicle. The method also includes determining, for each route segment of the one or more route segments, a vehicle energy consumption profile and determining, for each of the one or more route segments, a profile for a target vehicle speed based on at least one route characteristic and a corresponding vehicle energy consumption profile. The method also includes, for a respective route segment of the one or more route segments generating one or more torque commands based on at least the target vehicle speed profile corresponding to the respective route segment, and selectively controlling, using the one or more torque commands, vehicle propulsion of the vehicle to achieve the target vehicle speed profile.

  • Publication number: 20190296930
Abstract: Presented here are systems and methods to enable a user to remotely control the assistant device even when the user is not at home. The remote communication is established by creating a tunnel between the assistant device, the remote device and a cloud computer. The cloud computer provides the remote device with the same user interface that the assistant device displays. In turn, the remote device, via the cloud computer, provides commands to the assistant device. The user interface is adaptable, and once designed, is automatically adjusted to fit various display sizes of the assistant device and the remote device.

  • Publication number: 20180323996
Abstract: Presented here are methods by which an assistant device can learn user's habits in controlling the appliances associated with the assistant device. The assistant device can automatically learn which appliances-controlling actions tend to be performed together, and group those actions into scenes. Further, the assistant device can recognize the condition frequently present before a scene or an action within the scene is performed, and create a trigger for the scene and/or the action. The assistant device can automatically recognize the condition is present in the future, and offer to perform the scene and/or the action.
