The recognition section is configured to recognize audience members around the speaker. The input/output section is configured to input and output information as speech. The information generation section is configured to generate second information in response to first information that has been input to the input/output section. The identification section is configured to identify a speaker who spoke the first information. The control section is configured to judge whether or not the second information is information favorable to the speaker identified by the identification section, and to cause the second information to be output from the input/output section in cases in which the second information is judged to be favorable.
