  • Patent number: 7537074
Abstract: A washer tank is integrally formed with a front air duct, and the washer tank and the front air duct are installed within a cab. Thus, the washer tank can be installed within the cab by the use of spaces around the air duct. This arrangement makes it possible to install the washer tank within the cab in an unintrusive way and in the vicinity of a washer liquid spout nozzle without necessitating to provide an installation space exclusively for the washer tank.

  • Patent number: 5999792
Abstract: A document reading apparatus includes: a feed section for supplying a document sheet; a sheet discharging section located downstream of the feed section in a direction of transporting the document sheet; a reading section located on the sheet discharging section or between the feed section and the sheet discharging section; and a sheet detecting section located upstream of the reading section. The document sheet is transported by a feed roller disposed in the feed section until the document sheet is nipped by a transport roller disposed in the sheet discharging section. The feed section being further provided with a sheet separating mechanism and a feed pinch roller and spring. The feed pinch roller being in contact with the feed roller via a document sheet and rotating in accordance with a rotation of the feed roller, and the spring pressing and urging the feed pinch roller so that a pressure of the feed pinch roller to the feed roller is greater than the force applied by the sheet separating mechanism.

  • Patent number: 5931407
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a paper feeding mechanism for rolled paper which is easily set and has excellent carriageablity. When rolled paper is set, one guide member is pressed downward by an opened cover so that it comes closer to a body. At this time, a protruding member provided on the one guide member abuts against the other guide member. When the paper feeding mechanism operates, the cover is closed so that the one guide member separates from the body and urged toward the other guide member by an urging member, whereby the protruding member abuts against the other guide member. Therefore, since a width of a carrying path is held by a height of the protruding member between the one and other guide members, insertion of a rolled paper end is facilitated, and thus the paper can be smoothly carried with the aid of the tension of the paper.

  • Patent number: 4444549
Abstract: A refrigerant compressor having pistons reciprocated in respective cylinders by a wobble plate driven by an input rotor which is secured on a drive shaft, in which improved refrigerant gas flow within the housing is achieved. A balance hole is provided for returning the blow-by gas, which is leaked from the cylinders through the gaps between the cylinders and pistons to the crank chamber, to the compressor suction chamber from the crank chamber. The balance hole comprises a first fluid passageway formed in a front end plate and a second fluid passageway connected between the first fluid passageway and the suction chamber. One end of the first fluid passageway opens into a hollow portion formed on a axial end surface of the input rotor. The rotor is formed with at least one opening at its outer peripheral surface which communicates between the crank chamber and the hollow portion.
