  • Patent number: 10705462
Abstract: A motor driving unit controls motor conducted current of a brushed DC motor on the basis of a motor control signal. A motor control unit provides the motor control signal to the motor driving unit and thereby controls the brushed DC motor. A brush noise detecting unit detects brush noises in conducted current of the brushed DC motor and outputs a brush noise detection signal. A speed determining unit determines a time interval of the brush noises and determines a rotation speed of the brushed DC motor on the basis of the time interval. Further, the motor control unit determines whether the brushed DC motor is in a lock status or not on the basis of the rotation speed in a period that the motor control signal is provided to the motor driving unit to cause the brushed DC motor to be in operation.

  • Patent number: 9775265
Abstract: A heatsink to be mounted on a circuit board including a plurality of electronic parts is constituted of a conductive and rectangular plate-shaped member, and mounted on the circuit board such that a main surface of the heatsink blocks an airflow generated on the circuit board, the heatsink being electrically grounded. The main surface includes a contacting portion disposed in contact with the circuit board and an isolated portion separated from the circuit board, the isolated portion being cut into two parts along a straight line extending in a direction away from the circuit board. The two parts are each bent such that an end portion on a side of the straight line is oriented to a downstream side of the airflow, so that an opening is defined between the respective end portions of the two parts on the side of the straight line.

  • Publication number: 20160198061
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an equal-magnification-region-designation accepting circuit, a front-surface-image generating circuit, a back-surface-image generating circuit, and a duplex printing circuit. The front-surface-image generating circuit reduces the image in accordance with the reduction magnification to generate image data representing the reduced image as image data representing a front-surface-side image of duplex printing. The back-surface-image generating circuit uses the designated equal-magnification region in the image before the reduction by a magnification equal to the magnification of the image to generate image data representing a back-surface-side image of duplex printing. The duplex printing circuit prints an image corresponding to the front-surface-side image data on a front surface of a predetermined paper sheet and an image corresponding to the back-surface-side image data on the back surface of the paper sheet.

  • Patent number: 7511455
Abstract: A component box has a shape of a substantially flat plate, and is stacked along a direction UPR toward the ceiling of a vehicle with its center placed at a central portion of a casing for a battery pack. Cooling wind which has been used for air-conditioning inside the vehicle and supplied from a cooling fan to the battery pack is supplied to a coolant introducing space located on an upper side of a module, passes through a gap between adjacent battery groups to flow down to a lower side of the battery groups, and then is emitted from a coolant lead-out space located at a lower side of the module out of the battery pack. Since the component box is in contact with a cooling wind passage with the casing therebetween, the component box in contact with the cooling wind via the casing is cooled down simultaneously with the cooling of the module. Since the component box is placed with its center positioned at the central portion of the battery pack, variations in temperature among batteries can be suppressed.
