    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a tobacco extract that, when utilized for a non-combustion type flavor inhaler, does not generate insoluble particles in a liquid mixture or the like, and can thereby suppress scorching at a heat source section and also suppress a change in smoke flavor. The present invention provides a tobacco extract produced by subjecting all or a portion of a tobacco plant body to steam distillation to obtain a fraction, subjecting the fraction to solvent extraction with a suitable organic solvent, and removing the organic solvent.
