  • Publication number: 20070129830
Abstract: The types and sequence of windshields 101 that are to be placed on a delivery pallet 100 are identified based on ordering information of windshields given by a vehicle manufacturer. A worker sequentially places windshields 101 on the delivery pallet 100 according to the ordering information. An IC tag 105 is affixed to each windshield 101 which stores therein information which can identify the type of the windshield 101. By reading the information stored in the windshields 101 by a batch reading unit 50 and an individual reading unit 60, the types and sequence of the windshields 101 placed on the delivery pallet 100 by the worker are grasped, and in the event that an operation error occurs, the worker is informed of the occurrence of such an error.

Abstract: An electronic tag includes an antenna and a radio chip attached to the electronic tag such that the radio chip is connected to the antenna so as to transmit identification information in response to a request provided from outside through radio communication via the antenna. A first sheet glass and a second sheet glass are positioned such that surfaces thereof are made to face each other with the electronic tag held therebetween. An interlayer film is disposed between the first sheet glass and the second sheet glass so as to join the sheet glasses to each other. Two or more interlayer films are superposed on each other in at least part of an area defined between the first sheet glass and the second sheet glass, and the electronic tag is attached to the supposed interlayer films so as to be held therebetween.

  • Publication number: 20060010795
Abstract: A window material for a vehicle such as a window pane for a vehicle from which an identification marker cannot be easily removed is provided. The window pane for a vehicle is provided with an identification apparatus between a pair of panes. The identification apparatus is provided with an antenna capable of transmitting and receiving information and a storage means connected to the antenna and storing signals transmitted and received via the antenna. By using an IC chip to implement the storage means, storage of a large volume of data is enabled. Information stored in the window pane for a vehicle may include a serial number, time of production time and location of production. Since the window pane for a vehicle is provided with an antenna capable of transmitting and receiving information, the information is stored in the window pane for a vehicle by writing the information in the IC chip.

  • Patent number: 5337004
Abstract: Electrically conductive patterns such as antenna patterns on window glass are inspected for a wire break or a short circuit. The impedances between an electrically conductive pattern and an electrically conductive layer on an inspective table are measured at predetermined frequencies, or the levels of signals reflected from the electrically conductive pattern are measured at predetermined frequencies. A decision unit determines whether the electrically conductive pattern is acceptable or not based on the frequency characteristics of the electrically conductive pattern and the reference frequency characteristics of a reference electrically conductive pattern.
